Seems the pool is too edgy and close to the sides, is it safe there ?

All infinity pool constructions are in the same way bro. It seems too edgy and close to sides only when we view from the pool and property. There are protections at the sides of the pool that can seen only from the other side. See 13:30.
Also, When we swim, most part of our body will be under the water, so there is no chance that we go beyond the edges accidentally or it is extremely difficult to go beyond the edges intentionally.
It is completely safe.
