    Samara is so severely underrated! For me she is the best ME-Woman ever. Mystical, powerful, determined, cold but yet with a soft spot.
    She is a truly tragic character with a lot of depth. And she is the star far away that can never be reached (romantically) : (

    • @Brakiros

      92Beyo when you read the background notes the Shadow Broker has on her you can really see the pain, she's just realized that she's one of the rare asari that can only spawn potential serial killers because of the defect.

      I've never really liked Samara, personally. I think they didn't give her quite enough attention in either game. Also, the whole code thing is a bit strange. She eventually just seems like she's blindly following orders.

      Robert Harris I don't expect to see Samara again unless there's some twist about it in the writing. In terms of straight chronology, she indeed doesn't have 'much' longer (technically centuries longer, but she's well matured by now and more likely to be seen as a matriarch than matron).

      +terry autry I think that Samara would be actually stronger than Benezia since Benezia's mind was corrupted by Seren's power. Because of indoctrination, Benezia only thought that she was super powerful and limitless, while in reality she was as strong as any other Asari. Samara's mind was clean and that's why she was able to use her powers so effectively. So yeah, I think that Samara is easily a winner in 1v1 duel.

      @Fudgeoff6628 8 ปีที่แล้ว

      Considering how Benezia is practically the only one in the series to fight and stave off Indoctrination for periods of time, I'd wager she is far more powerful than Samara.
      Shepard himself acknowledged in ME1 that Asari Matriarchs are some of the most powerful beings in the galaxy.
      and lets not forget that the fight in ME1 against Benezia was total bullocks, all she does is shot you with a Pistol, and use her power to open doors... doors. -____-

    Making connections between the Asari and the Arabians could have easily been interpreted as an insult. The middle East was where the first civilizations started, whereas the Asari were the first spacefaring species. The latter, however, were only first because of an assholish behaviour that almost got the galaxy killed, so you might wanna avoid any unfortunate implications...

    The thing is, by the time Morinth fled to avoid a life in the monastery, she had unashamedly killed several people. The addiction to killing is cumulative, only truly manifesting after the first few kills. She drove Samara to become a justicar out of desperation, and killed hundreds more for pleasure. Samara does realise that her code is outdated, but she had to stop Morinth from killing anyone else. She surrendered everything for the code, and disobeying it would mean it was all for nothing.

    i like how it gets fast, slow, a big more faster, and then very fast. like the battle gets more intense, but then they get tired and try to figure out a different strategy, and then go at it again.

    This theme is actually missing a part : O
    In Samara's mission quest, when you're fighting the helicopter, the music tone changes into a techno shit. Where is that part : O ? It's the best part of the music too.l

    @Jonaries Man,first of all Morinth lies to you all time in game.just remember when she told you how you will survive mind melding with her,then she kill you.Samara don't lie,because her code forbid her.And,I mean who will chose murder psychopath over warrior of justice and righteousness?
    But I admit,if there was a way to save both Morinth and Samara,I would chose it.Just because somebody is born with genetic mistake doesn't mean it is not reversible.

    @lordnimr0d Well, we live only around 80 years now. In ME Human can live up to 150 max. And Asari can live even over 1000 years. To them we are like hamsters, live for several years and die.

  • @2SSSR2
    @2SSSR2 13 ปีที่แล้ว

    @lordnimr0d No problem, and why not the point? Asari don't age like Human females. They can still gave a birth to a child even at 900 year of their life.

    @JaminKoehn I totally agree. Nonessential ones (for the possible purposes of ME3's story) who may still appear and do things, just not be squad, would be: Samara/Mordeth, Thane, Mordin, Wrex, etc. I dunno though... I'd like MOST of all of them back, and for even Ashley/Kaiden to have a really good return in stronger forms. Yes really, I like them both. Jacob though...mehhhh. I want Miranda and Jack back only because it seemed they only got 1/2 the character changes/development that they needed.

  • @SwobyJ
    @SwobyJ 14 ปีที่แล้ว

    Barrier: ONLY Jack or Samara. Loyal. Everyone else fails at the end. Good to have biotic upgrades too at least, or something like Jack's upgrade.
    Tech tube: ONLY Tali or Legion. Loyal. Everyone else fails at the end, except Kasumi if you downloaded her. Good to clear the last area before freeing them. Upgrades may be good too.
    Fireteams: People like Miranda, Garrus, Jacob, Grunt(?), etc.
    Some just aren't good in this stuff, like Thane and Mordin. I still luv em though.

    @emeraldthechao174 Personally, I wouldn't refer to them as two companies. Austin and Montreal are just two of BioWare's workcenters.
    At any rate, even with Montreal being able to focus solely on Mass Effect 3, the multiple possible endings to Mass Effect 2 still concerns me because I worry about who they'll bother bringing back.
    I'm just being cautiously optimistic. I hope to see some new gameplay mechanics in ME3, but not at the cost of too many of the ME2 characters.

  • @JaminKoehn
    @JaminKoehn 14 ปีที่แล้ว

    @AtticWarrior1994 Nope. I think they would make a great couple, too.
    Maybe in Mass Effect 3, there will squad members hooking up with each other, and Shepard might have to compete for one or the other's affection.
    I like it...but given the multitude of possible endings to Mass Effect 2, and BioWare having to develop Mass Effect 3 to tailor itself to those endings (regardless of which squad members BioWare would bring back), they likely have enough on their plate.

    @IntuitionJo Well, It depends on how strong someones ethics are or what kind of Ethics they have. I think Morinth is a truly unique creature capable of power beyond all others in her superior species. Theres more to the story i can feel it. She a goddess and it wont suprise me if she truly is the genetic destiny of the asari and not really sterile. Therefore the short sided decision i believe is killing her. But thats just me, and im usually told Im wierd. On a side note I love them both.

    @LordSensidon01 Quite so...quite frankly though, I'm beginnning to wonder just how many more epic-ly awesome ME characters will actually fit before...idk..minds will -actually- start exploding...well..shards of awesome or something. I mean, I was stoked just to find that Garrus & Tali(And 'Jeff') were both back and better than ever...then they go on to stack on the likes of Samara and Legion, to say nothing of the rest.

    Careful with biotics. Most powers only work properly on enemies with no protective layers (shields, biotic barriers, armour). Pull can still damage armour or barriers, but it won't lift the target until it's down to health.
    On normal and below, that isn't a problem, but any higher and every enemy gets a protective layer, regardless of rank. It makes being an up-close class like the Vanguard incredibly difficult and riskier than it already is at normal.

    I used to feel sorry for Morinth but I can see why Samra killed her. She was totally selfish and nutty. When I was playing renagade I killed her in the suicide mission. No way was I going to let her turn into a banshee and kill me in part 3. Shes strong but dumb as a brick. I can't believe Samara called her the smartest of all her daughters.

    @Tleilaxu0 By "they" I think you really mean "he," and "he" would be the composer of the Dragon Age: Origins and Dragon Age 2 soundtracks: Inon Zur.
    It is entirely possible that Inon Zur found some inspiration in the music of the preceeding BioWare title.
    I, for one, can't fault him for that; he, clearly, has excellent taste in music.

    Not always - played the game on hardcore with a soldier, and felt it was way to easy attimes. Assault rifles + all types of specialized ammo eats enemies absurdly fast - add to that tech/biotic able squad mates and the death patrol is born...
    I'll try the game with a biotic char for more challenge, tbh.
    P.S: geth pulse rifle is horribly over-powered.

    I think I have made a language mistake. I was trying to say that I agree with you, I should have said: instead of forcing their propaganda beliefs on us like they usually do with other games, this time they let us choose what we want, which is the right thing to do. sorry if I misspoke. I was very tired when I wrote the prev. response.
