Summer in SAMARINA, Pindos Mountains, Greece 1995

Tim Salmon travels to Samarina in the northern Pindos Mountains in Greece to meet his friends, the Anthoulis brothers, who are shepherds.
It is August and the time of the festival of Panagia. Many visitors have arrived from all over Greece for the festival held on the 15th August.
In October Tim returns to join his shepherd friends to make the Dhiava, the journey to the lowlands with the sheep.
