I watch two narrowboat vlogs each week, both vlogs always have me feeling as if I'm there on the boat with you(not paying rent mind you). Your wit and story telling brin g life into what it is like on the canals. Please keep this up.
I love the way you were able to take the old photos and match them up to today’s photos. That’s really hard to find the same vantage point. Good job it was neat to see!
I love the way Silver Fox just glides into those old photos. A lovely cruise with some history lessons thrown in...what could be better! Well...actually being there would be better..but I’ll take what I can get with gratitude. Give Otis a hug & a treat for me🦴❣️

Anyway you guys remain the best, most entertaining and professional programme on YT. Colin and Shaun your focus on the job to hand to the benefit of your viewers should be a lesson to ALL mainstream content providers over all media. Did I say you are good?

Shaun and Colin. I can't begin to tell you how very much I love your channel! Shaun your laugh is contagious and your smile is just great. Colin I absolutely adore your commentary and the little known facts you give us. I think the two of you are brilliant. I too suffer from anxiety, depression and PTSD. The PTSD is from childhood trauma. I am blessed with a wonderful family. I watch your videos at night in bed to relax. I have binge watched many and trust me I will watch them all! I love you both! Take care and safe travels!
Absolutely adore your channel. The stunning scenery and the awesome photography, combined with all the history and factoids is the perfect way to unwind and just chill the old grey cells. And the laughs n’ giggles. Thank you so much.
I am so mad at myself for not doing the research that I should have about the canals of England. I lived in the Midlands and East Anglia in 1959 and 1960 but sadly was not aware. My wife and I have since then visited three times but, not being aware, have not taken those opportunities to travel on a Narrow Boat. Thanks to you gentlemen, you are providing us with the opportunity to learn and enjoy the beautiful English countryside from a totally different perspective. We so much look forward to each of your productions.
@@FoxesAfloat Thanks for clarification. Would love to see inside one of those English pubs when you get a chance. There you go, an excuse to moor by a pub for an ale or two 😃

Hi guys, not watched this yet, I’m catching up all the way back from the start, at about number 80 now. Just wanted you to know that you’re making two people who have no interest in narrow boats very happy watching these. Next time you’re at Woodlesford, let us know and we’ll buy thee a beer.
It's a calm Saturday morning, here in the UK's most easterly town, but every news article is pretty sombre today. So, what better way to ease into the day, than watch the latest episode. Always fun, always informative and somehow comforting, like an old pair of slippers 😊 The number one thing about canal life, that's most appealing, is the pace of life. But there's always time for the fast forward version. Loved it 🙂 Thanks guys, and looking forward to seeing you next week 💚👏👏
I've watched videos of some of the canal restorations. The volunteers are simply amazing. It's really hard work and a lot of the volunteers are pretty old and it's sad that some won't see the results of their incredible dedication. The canal people of the past had grit for sure and so do the volunteers today! Great vlog as always and very educational.
So looking forward to whatever is next! I thoroughly enjoyed the beautiful videography, the repartée between you two, and the music in the background, plus the history of the arm that is really a finger. Thanks to y’all, I know what those body part words mean in that sentence which is certainly not the usual meaning. 😂🤣😅♥️♥️♥️😅🤣😂 Hello and ear rubs to . . . No, not y’all! Otis!
