I was getting coffee at a Casey's General Store in Indiana and as I walked out and was about to open up the car door I heard a honk. It was from the car next where I was. It was my wife who I had left in the car to go in the store. I was getting into the wrong car which was the same make and model. She laughed like crazy.
Sleep apnea and or congestive heart failure can cause dreams of falling or dying. I have sleep apnea. Happens all the time to me. I actually had a dream were I fell off a 100' big building were I work and (unlike most times were I wake up before I hit the ground) I actually hit the ground and got up with just a broken arm and finished out the day at work in the dream. Lol. Anyways it's helpful info for people who have dreams like this and could have sleep apnea and do not know it. It took me a long time to igure it out cause I live alone and nobody was there to tell me "hey you stop breathing when you sleep"
the reason you always wake up in your dreams when something bad is happening that could kill you is because you don't know what death is like and have never experienced it so even your subconscious mind cant imagine it
