Ah Yes, the reason I added a third fan when painting Betsy. The air has to really move. I had my garage at 50 feet per minute (50%) of a professional booth. IIRC the fans had to pull 5500 CFM through the filter to get the air up to speed. Over spray spent 18 seconds traveling over the length of the car. Nerve wracking painting in a garage. Good work Wally, I have no doubt it will turn out well.
I will disassemble and clean the fan today and make sure it is running at full efficiency. I may even see if I can find something a little more "industrial"
yep and clearcoat puts out a lot of overspray gets dark in there real fast can't see what was just sprayed i always have a 500watt flood light on the ready if i can't see the rockers remember when spraying clearcoat 1st coat is just tack coat don't go for wet look and babysit the car in between coats runs show up 20 minutes later have a paper towel ready for those you can dab a clearcoat run dry then spray another coat over that spot
Fans and lighting can have an effect on the outcome of your paint. I found out the hard way to check the paint with a "sunlight" before clear. Sorry you have to sand the base, but I'm sure it will turn out great!
Its all good don't sweat it, shit happens. Don't be hard on yourself. You brought this Cobra to this stage which it's never been this good.
Wow, sorry you ran into difficulties. Learning process with pain.
It is a hard lesson, I was a little cocky and paid for it. but fixable

Bummer. Hope the next painting phase goes better.
Thank you , really bummed me out. I will go one piece at a time.
The gremlins come to test our resolve! Glad you caught it early enough to be fixed cheap.
Thank you imagine if i cleared this .A little elbow grease and I can reset

Great Ideas, I got cocky on this and failed to do some of the basics. I am getting more light and fixing the airflow before I do anything else.

Thank you , I realize now that I was rushing through this and could be getting frustrated and that is always a bad thing. Slow and steady
You gotta live a plan that works out 🤷♂️👍🏻
Thank you One panel at a time with proper lighting should be good. I think I was rushing as well
I look at it this way. We get more videos!
LOL.. thank you . I will slow down and we should be good
