Yesterday, I had a brain MRI. The technicians asked if I had a music preference. Christian music was an option, so I chose it. They fixed me up with some headphones, got the volume adjusted, and as I was being put into the machine, this song of yours came on. I had never heard it before - THANK YOU, CHRIS!!! This was EXACTLY what I needed to hear, and our Lord was merciful to orchestrate it's playing when it was needed most. I was alone; my husband wasn't able to be there with me, and I was several hours away from home. After hearing the disappointing results from the MRI, I had a long drive home, so before leaving the parking lot, I pulled up your song on TH-cam on my old phone, put it on "loop", ran the audio through the car's system, and was enveloped by your wonderful work of art for the 5-hour drive home. Thank you, thank you, thank you! I cannot express my gratitude enough. GOD is so, so good!!!!
Been walkin' for a while, my feet are gettin' tired My heart's a little heavy, but You keep me goin' Been walkin' for a while, mile after mile My soul's a little weary, but You keep me goin' You keep me goin' You said it'd be a narrow road You said it'd be a narrow road So why am I surprised when it seems I'm on my own? You said it'd be a narrow road This world would never be my home The journey might be lonely, but I'd never be alone Oh-oh-oh-oh-oh, I'd never be alone Been walkin' for a while, wanderin' in the wild You're holdin' me steady, yeah You keep me goin' Been walkin' for a while, followin' the fire And Your Spirit is within me and it keeps me goin' You said it'd be a narrow road You said it'd be a narrow road So why am I surprised when it seems I'm on my own? You said it'd be a narrow road This world would never be my home The journey might be lonely, but I'd never be alone Oh-oh-oh-oh-oh, I'd never be alone I will walk wherever You're leading Cloud by day, and a fire by evening You're the lamp that's guiding my feet So I can see where I am going I will walk wherever You're leading Cloud by day, and a fire by evening You're the lamp that's guiding my feet So I can see where I am going You said it'd be a narrow road You said it'd be a narrow road So why am I surprised when it seems I'm on my own? You said it'd be a narrow road This world would never be my home The journey might be lonely, but I'd never be alone Oh-oh-oh-oh-oh, I'll never be alone
Had no clue you and Josh Baldwin co-wrote this. That’s awesome! That was my favorite track from his album, awesome to know you were a part of it!! This song definitely sums up what it feels like to be a Christian at times. Makes me think of chapter 11 of the book of Hebrews - ”By faith Abraham obeyed when he was called to go out to a place he would later receive as an inheritance, and he went out without understanding where he was going. By faith he lived as a foreigner in the promised land as though it were a foreign country, living in tents with Isaac and Jacob, who were fellow heirs of the same promise. For he was looking forward to the city with firm foundations, whose architect and builder is God.“ Hebrews 11:8-10 NET
This has been my favorite song in this season. God has really been using it to deepen the work he’s been doing in my soul. Thank you so much for releasing this!

Our Whole hope
Amen sister.
Somewhat of an I'll Be The Branches throwback, and I'm living for it. This one is incredible.
Noticed this too! Like a mix of that and gootwoyoh
Yes! I noticed that too
He's there he sees. He leads. He commands. He fights. He loves. Soon we will be with him in body.
Yes brother
keep our eyes on Jesus
Been walkin' for a while, my feet are gettin' tired
My heart's a little heavy, but You keep me goin'
Been walkin' for a while, mile after mile
My soul's a little weary, but You keep me goin'
You keep me goin'
You said it'd be a narrow road
You said it'd be a narrow road
So why am I surprised when it seems I'm on my own?
You said it'd be a narrow road
This world would never be my home
The journey might be lonely, but I'd never be alone
Oh-oh-oh-oh-oh, I'd never be alone
Been walkin' for a while, wanderin' in the wild
You're holdin' me steady, yeah You keep me goin'
Been walkin' for a while, followin' the fire
And Your Spirit is within me and it keeps me goin'
You said it'd be a narrow road
You said it'd be a narrow road
So why am I surprised when it seems I'm on my own?
You said it'd be a narrow road
This world would never be my home
The journey might be lonely, but I'd never be alone
Oh-oh-oh-oh-oh, I'd never be alone
I will walk wherever You're leading
Cloud by day, and a fire by evening
You're the lamp that's guiding my feet
So I can see where I am going
I will walk wherever You're leading
Cloud by day, and a fire by evening
You're the lamp that's guiding my feet
So I can see where I am going
You said it'd be a narrow road
You said it'd be a narrow road
So why am I surprised when it seems I'm on my own?
You said it'd be a narrow road
This world would never be my home
The journey might be lonely, but I'd never be alone
Oh-oh-oh-oh-oh, I'll never be alone
thank you
