I recently began watching, I love listening to your educational style and the transparency you share regarding implants, etc.. the pros and cons of your daily profession help all patients near and far, especially patients facing these issues, thankyou!
As a new subscriber from NC, I also try to be transparent when commenting on any channels I subscribe to. I must let you know as I'm beginning to watch many of your past post that the music you are playing over your conversations with each other as you are educating all of us is extremely irritating.
Its very nice to hear soft music in the background as a patient in the dental chair at your office, but in this format, sitting on my couch trying to educate myself and understand this foreign medical subject and procedure,
I find it very distracting and unnecessary, isn't it possible to turn it off ? Especially, when you are filming here on utube.
Great job otherwise...I Thank you for sharing so much information with all of us.
Blessings from a Nana of 3 in NC

Dr. Belingham & Dr. Choi described exactly what I had been through with my former dentists: pain, discomfort, bad practice, and a general lack of empathy. I wish I have this information available 7 years ago. Thank you!

Being heard matters. If my dentist had not disregarded my comments that the bite registry taken for my ten (yes 10) implant crowns was not consistent with my real bite, I would not be sitting here depressed with failing implants and teeth. Plus I had a bottom tooth that had drifted and could not clear my upper at all, told them and they tried to just open my bite high enough to clear it. Was told it was all in my head. Then they dismissed me after taking my life savings. No provisionals, just went direct to final zirconia crowns. I didn’t know what I needed to know or I would have run away before they started any work. I wish I lived in TX because I need to either re-do it all or get it all removed and get dentures.

I, like you, don’t understand why this is allowed to happen at our expense and we are stuck drained of our savings & left unable to afford to start completely over. It’s beyond me how this is legal or acceptable.
      Truly depressing & discouraging.
I’m so sorry you are faced with your situation. I know what you are going through.

So, a person gets a leakage on a filling, they end up having to do it again and they charge you again. Who picks up that bill?

I am having my orthodontics treatment...my 1-2 brackets are getting off every month
Also i had a gap between my teeth and when i made him know that he put on something and the gap filled within 5-6 hours.

Hi! I had a permanent crown put in after I had the temp crown for a month. Temp crown was great! Perm, day of install was already feeling off. Told the dentist, he shaved it down further 3 days later. 5 days later excruciating pain in the crown, felt pain in my right nostril and right cheek (crown is upper right #3)
while on vacation. Went to a dentist in Florida who proscribed amoxicillin until I return home on Wednesday. Should I trust this dentist to redo the crown? What’s the next step? X-ray?
I think the seal isn’t correct between the tooth.
Also, dentist left cement on a neighboring tooth and my gums have receded in that area.

@northtexasdentalsurgery Dr. Choi, In this segment I heard y’all mention the importance of margins when setting crowns.
In my efforts of trying not to write a novel…After 13 months with current “Advanced Dentistry” EVERY crown seated has very open margins all the way around but when I questioned, I’m being told that my gums will settle. Will this issue cause my gums to pull away even more? This is a full upper restoration still incomplete that began Nov 3rd, 2021.
Thanks in advance from Nashville TN ❤️

Had a cavity and then crown put on upper back tooth that had a prior root canal 4 yrs ago. (First attempt at crown didn’t fit so temporary back on) Second try at crown seated on Thursday and by Sat extreme pain and throbbing in tooth going up into nasal cavity-then headache. Saw dentist on Monday, gave me antibiotics and told to see my endodontist. (Two months prior, endo did 365 X-ray and said all previous root canals looked good). What could have happened in 2 days to cause infection? Endo will probably want to retreat root canal (for $1800)…. ??
