Kibble is always going to give the best taming effectiveness For meat eaters mutton is usually the next best then Prime then regular meat. For plant eaters its kibble , vegetables, mejo berries, then the rest of the berries. There are only a few exceptions to this throughout ark.
@ right, I understand. I was just wondering if it mattered in this case if food was just a distraction and the petting did the actual taming, like how the egg distracts the gigantoraptor and the dance does the actual taming.

@@bonefat21 Ah ya food matters having to also pet is just to make a little different and more immersive taming.
