It is true that people will choose a robotaxi over a driver, even at the same price, especially women. But don't believe the lies about how this is going to be sooo cheap, for YOU. No, it's going to be so cheap for the taxi companies but that is NOT how your price will be determined. Prices are only kept low to challenge competition, supply and demand is in play otherwise. We see this in action with the Cybertruck. Announced at $40k for the base model. But not only do actual prices double on release, they take advantage of the 2 million person waiting list to tack on an additional $20,000. They are still selling only with this $20k premium 4 months later. People get some decals and promises of future tech that won't be available for months. So don't expect robotaxis to be a whole lot cheaper than taxis are today. The fact that people are getting poorer with inflation and car and truck prices have gotten ridiculous pushes even more people into taxis, so there's no need for discounts. That's just a lie they are telling us to get our support.
@@hobbies222 HERTZ charges the customer over $200 to recharge the rental car. People don't know how to drive a Tesla ? Then why are people buying TESLA. Think about an Uber driver needing a charge during the day . The driver sits during the charge and not paid?
