Mate i need to covert pdg in dwg, but i need to edit ... how i do this ?
Since you are a mac user, try to use adobe illustrator and do the export there. All cad files are vector files. The pdf file origin can be either vector , raster or both. Vector is easier to handle and convert to proper cad file. Raster can be a nightmare.
Drag the volu for the setuper track that you're recording into all the way down.
This is like a miracle. I am a Revit technician and had very much difficulties with dwg survey plan. Inserting through Link Cad had always confused me. Some surveyors use imperial scales which means I had to convert to metric scales. I'm not good in AutoCad so it's challenging. Sometime the the surveyor had mention spot level at 9.12m but, the actual point is 409.17 as it is measured from sea level. To avoid confusion I use the PDF and draw the toposurface. I am really gifted in this but as you say the only problem is I need to scale it to the right size, then when you go to draw you fine the boundary lines smuggy. Yet I come up with very good 3D site plan in Revit. The above tutorial is amazing except for one part I cannot once its converted and opened up back in free online cad viewer how to save it? None of the tabs has a save tool. I couldn't drag it to Revit project either. Can you please do a video with how to save?
nira bottinga you will definitely have issues with scaling, and the lines will be off, if it's a surveyors plan, the bearings and distances will be of,..
nira bottinga am replying you from a surveyors point, as it's like converting a picture to cad. You just have problems with scaling

when a pdf is converted like that is loses the symbols like doors, walls, etc, it comes only the vector drawing, any way to keep the symbols? or convert those lines to symbols? thanks.... great video
+ocramas unfortunately a PDF does not retain any of that metadata so when coverted this isn't picked up.

Probably late answer but.
After converting into a Cad file.
Use align command and reference between scaled line and the drawing.

AutoCAD 2017,2018 and 2019 has the functionality of importing PDF (true vector PDF drawing not scanned) and converting it to Dwg.

there is an addon that you can download called VectPDF3.2 that will allow you to drag a .pdf to autoCAD and you will be able to edit as if it were a regular file

+Jemar Battle what is the quality like of your PDF? If there is any noise in the copy at all then it will pick this up.
