From what I know, youtube stored 1080p quality w/o audio and the audio seperate, leaving only 720p and 360p quality video+audio already pre-combined. Because you can download 720p w/audio without doing anything special, making it a free service, but other quality will require actual combining the audio with it meaning using computer process, hence making it a paid service. That's why instead of relying on those website and getting ads, you can use tools such as youtube-dl to download the 1080p (no-audio) video and the seperate audio, and use a tool like ffmpeg to merge both files. Does require using the command line but you're better off looking like hackerman downloading a video than going through whatever ad infested site imo
