Very common to dive/snorkel along the North jetty of the Palm Beach inlet when the tide is coming in. Just looks like they are in the middle of the inlet when you are setting on the couch.
Yes the weather was a bit windy, but by posting videos like this your helping potential boat buyer to study different boats ride the choppy conditions and help make a decision but If you can video some 28' to 35' fly bridge boats in similar weather conditions would be nice. Thank you.
I like West Palm Beach County it does have a lot of senior citizens live there but West Palm Beach Lake Worth I've been there it's not too far from Boynton Beach
Hey awesome stuff man, glad to see you made a trip up here. Bad weather days are the best days! Really shows how the boats handle some action, again awesome stuff. Also I just realized I was just inside the inlet that day hanging out at peanut, I remember seeing those divers in the middle on the inlet, not the best place to be.
Would be cool if you included wind speed and direction and what tide it was at. I have Hobie Adventure Island and I use videos like yours to time my launch thru the Inlets. Thanks man!!
Idiots diving in the cut.. Very dangerous. illegal to dive in a navigable waterway. Also illegal to anchor in one. And for good reason. But they have a dive flag....... These are the same people who will stop on a busy highway to let someone out.
stupid yes, not illegal. Diving with tanks is illegal but free diving is not. They are just pussys who cant hold their breath for longer than 20 second so they dive the shallows
Preciosas imagenes!!! Me encanta cómo levantan la proa con las olas y sacan casi medio barco... Y los que estan haciendo pesca submarina... no es un poco peligroso estar ahí en medio, por mucho que tengan puesta la bandera de señalización? Gracias!!!
Do you know the TH-cam channel deermeatfordinner? They’re pretty popular but the guy who runs the channel, Robert, passes through Jupiter inlet frequently I think. Was wondering if you knew who he was or if you’ve ever filmed him. He just redid a boat, it’s on his channel, it’s called the GutBucket.
It’s crazy how many people don’t follow the regs. If you see an open array Radar that isn’t spinning it’s not on and it has to be. When do you practice using it in the storm?? Money to buy the boat without the knowledge.
Because - it cuts through the waves better - less friction on the hull equals easier on the engine and easier on fuel (because of less surface of the hull is contacting the water, so it creates a decent decrease in drag of you're going to be cruising a good bit) - and because many of them are trying to get right on the backside of a nice wave and ride the backside of said wave out of the inlet (smaller boats this is especially applicable to). The big bonus on this for guys who don't use it for the above reasons, is that it heavily reduces the amount of excess water getting in the boat because the bow is higher. Higher bow = a lot of the excess water splash from waves and etc is deflected back down into the water. - It also helps lesser experienced boaters from spearing through the next wave on accident.
Pretty stupid diving in the mouth of an inlet, with boat traffic running in and out and rough out. Whole ocean out there to dive. If I was law enforcement I give them a summons and chase them out of there!
Your're pretty stupid if you think they were in the mouth, its called spearfishing. Their boat was obviously too small for the seas so they decided to dive around the jetty rocks that tend to hold fish. Was it dumb? Obviously lmao but these guys are pussys who prob cant free dive more then 10 feet so what else are they gonna do
Can the all the big boats like that massive yellow one at the end be trimmed to ride in the water better..I know nothing about them big boats and I see the yellow one a lot hhhhahhaahah

great videos!!! always fun watching a big sportfish crash through a rough inlet. 👍
so if you wanna dive in a major inlet, just fly your flag and make the boat traffic go around, or are you diving at your own risk flag or no flag?
Not a great morning for my first Lake Worth Inlet / Palm Beach visit to catch the boating action... next time hopefully it will be better weather.
ZipZapPower always worth watching ,love this channel its therapy when I am stuck working
Thanks!
I love the rough water vids mate! Your channel is second best to being there in person. Thanks for sharing these with us
No way, the snottier the better. I clicked this video just because of the conditions.
ZipZapPower the more rough the better to see the ride of the boats. Excellent
Really nice videos ZipZap i get really relaxed with this, pure paradise! Enjoy it for me in live
Thanks! will do!
wait, this looks like a good place to dive. WTF!
its called spearfishing, they probably cant hold their breath longer than 20 seconds so they cant freedive deep so they shoot fish of jetty rocks
Those boats not taking any notice of that dive flag either, get out of my way, I dont care, your own your own, thats the American sprit right there
@@lovejetfuel4071 also illegal and will get citation when caught...

You might find it interesting to know that some boat racing teams use my race videos to analyze their hull performance.
That Regulator was getting it!!
Chris Christian sweet boat.
He should give lessons on how to drive a boat.
Regulator was awesome! ! think the last boat was a 64 Spencer! !
My guess was a Spencer also.Beautiful lines on that boat. That Regulator looked good running thru the rough stuff. Thanks Zip.
Yes
Pretty sure last boat was a Buddy Davis.
doesn't have the Buddy flair......
61 Spencer, HOMERUN.
Water life the best life 🇻🇨👍 south beach
That yellow bottomed Carolina custom at the end was spectacular! Does anyone know what make that was? My guess would be Jarrett Bay

Thanks. The messy water does make it interesting, I'm not a fan of the wind though.
I'm with you on that one, that day the wind was blowing pretty good out of the east, gusts must've been 25-30+ kn
That century actually did very good. Maybe a 32'er?

not a bad idea, you have an app you recommend?
Something tells me we're not at Haulover Inlet anymore.

Estoy feliz de que disfrutes del video. La bandera es inútil cuando los barcos no pueden evitarte.
Just saw that first boat, Fly'nFish down in Marathon! How random!
Nice... I hope you went to sunset grille and got some lobster bites!
what is the make of the Fly n Fish? do you remember?
0:28 my mercruiser is like 300 hp so it is as fast as that thing.

don't know them

Its a law that you have to use a radar on a boat? Lmao where are you from
I wonder why do so many boats trim their bow so high? You see that a lot more with US boat drivers than with European boat drivers.
so you don't spray saltwater all inside the boat and so the ride is more comfortable
Because
- it cuts through the waves better
- less friction on the hull equals easier on the engine and easier on fuel (because of less surface of the hull is contacting the water, so it creates a decent decrease in drag of you're going to be cruising a good bit)

Is theis lake worth or palm beach inlet? I thought lake worth inlet had the concrete?
As I understand it, palm beach inlet and lake worth inlet are synonymous.
@@ZipZapPower damn that explains it!

what was the name on that last Yellow sporty coming in?
Was the second boat a regulator?
was that a mochi craft?
