I had a bad feeling this was going to happen to people. This worries me as a solo developer, the little guys don't stand a chance if people are just going to rip there game modes. I'm sorry this happened to you and your team, I have over 600 hours in UEFN since the beta released in April and understand how bad it feels for someone to just come and rip your hard work after spending countless hours and hours making a map. Discovery tab system needs a complete overhaul in my opinion, also the map approval review process needs to improve, something as blatant as copying a thumbnail to that level of similarity should have never been allowed to take place. Maybe we will see AI start to play a role in this process and things should improve in the future it's just rough to see this kind of activity take place and you are forced to just accept it essentially.

The smart thing to do guys is NOT to send hate to the other creator, but to actually support Sypher by playing his map....Also stopping to play the other creator's maps all around is not a bad idea TBH.
The smart thing to do would've been to handle this privately or just add a clip to the beggining of his videos explaining which one is the map he made. Instead he made a post in which he lied about being bullied while pretending like something of value got stolen. It was just some low effort thumbnail for a map he didn't even feel like promoting until someone hurt his fragile ego

I don't think this is really stealing or bullying. The map is a new take on a popular genre, not a direct copy. Calling competition "theft" is unfair. Some inspiration between creators is normal and healthy. A discussion about proper attribution for any reused elements would be better than exaggerating this to bullying or ralllying retaliation.
Sometimes people aren’t meant to receive success. I too play the other guys Red vs Blue Rumble map ALL the time and am SUPER disgusted at this. It amazes me how badly some people want attention even with popular maps that they decide to completely rig and steal from others. It’s greedy, and should be acted on as soon as possible. Super sorry to see this happen to you Sypher, and hope that the best comes from this.
