To be fair Matt, it was a codemasters problem! they did not recognize the fact that you qualify with a different tyre compound, you can end the race with the other. Because they expact that all the top 10 to use the fastest tyre compound. WIth that being said, i think they rolled out an update to fix that issue. I had that same exact problem in my career mode
