Great question. For me it depends on the length of the trip. We took a 5 day cruise and decided to pay by drink. We only spent $120 total by doing so. The drink package would’ve been a total of $600. Now, had we bought the package we definitely would’ve drank more. And the package definitely allows you to turn up without a second thought. But we still were able to enjoy ourselves without it.
