It really help to melt (blend) the two plastics together if ya wave a torch across the crack just before you use the hot smoothing head and filling rods. Sea-yA
I was just looking at these kits on Amazon and figured it would be a good idea to look up some videos first. Order placed. Got some patching to do on one of my kayaks.
Thanks. The one on the link is 220v. If using a heat gun they all say use low setting so you don't blow a hole in the yak. Is the same true for using this? 220 seems pretty powerful.
