It's always fun to see you shop at places I have been. So many great things! I love the chenille "cute guys" and mercury glass picks. I have that black flower frog. It should have been with my Halloween stuff, but I didn't see it this year. I love it. I display my cupcake picks in it. That Victorian scratch book is fabulous.
My eyes bug out when i go in a shop full of Christmas goodies. I love it all but blow molds are my favorite score. I love napco, Holt Howard, inarco, Lefton and other christmas items. I love walking into a booth and they have vintage christmas tableclothes. I walked into a booth at the old Nichols store in Annville turned into a antique mall now gone and yelled oh my look at all these goodies. The couple in the next aisle laughed and yelled over my wife said the same thing when she walked into the same both. She yelled I left some nice ones for you. Yeah they were priced pretty high. If it's a Wilendur I'll pay a little more. Love christmas.
Enjoyed this shop along, you found several items we hadn’t seen before!! Maybe that tiny baby picture fit into Dad’s jacket pocket for when he traveled.??
Fun to see Tina! You did get some great pieces. I agree with you about the scrap book that was so damaged. Such a beautiful piece and sad to see it's condition.
I THINK the black Victorian items aren't bakelite they're "percha" a resin Composite which is still used to fill the voids in root canals. They did all the mourning items out of it. Thanks for sharing! Xox
Michael, I love your videos ❤. You sharing places I can’t, such a blessing. Jesus loves you and I do too. Prayers for your success. Ps. Thank you for being kind to religious items.
This was a great place . They had it all. Loved all of the Christmas items and of course the ephemera. Tina is such a sweetheart. See you on your next sale.
Omg 🙌🏻 I’m not an ephemera collector, but I might have to start !!!! The little tin type with the baby 😔🦋 The history… and the cloth scrapbook OMG 🙌🏻 I’m a history / art history nerd … Absolutely great finds !!!!
I thought the little black picture box was a Victorian mourning piece. We had a similar one in the family. The person inside was deceased in the photo.
Un-fun fact: tin type pictures of very young children from the mid through late 1800's and beyond were mainly post-mortem "momento mori". Photography was too new and expensive to afford for most for a memory of someone still alive and death was common and people were more accepting of this reality and embraced "new technology" to have a lasting memory. The eyes were painted open after the photo was developed.
I would have loved to have looked at the older Santa’s a bit longer and been chatting with you live so I could have you buy one for me, I would have paid you for the piece and whatever your markup was. I love all the old Santa’s. I live on the Central Coast of California and you just don’t find beauty like that here.
I wonder if it would pay if you traveled a little further South and hit some small town shops? I’m here in Missouri and I’m seeing a lot lower prices here. KC or St Louis? I know I saw GREAT prices in North Carolina! Hendersonville and Asheville NC. Get a map. Maybe look some places up? Call around ask for prices?
Just a little tidbit from me, and I am no expert at all. It just seems you could be even more successful to maybe get out of the mindset of only buying what you like and what excites you. In the end, these items aren’t going to be yours. Only a handful of people are like you in the world. What about everyone else? A lot of what you said was ok or wasn’t your vibe I would buy. Some of what you loved, I didn’t really care for. Maybe that way you can find more and at a little better price. 😊. Love your videos ❤
The Antique Malls have some beautiful merchandise but the prices are at the TOP. For the normal buyer it’s very disappointing to spend the day and leave with nothing. ☹️
Mike, why don't you shop places that you can afford. Seriously, I don't think I'm the only person who's tired of listening to you say that you can't afford it. Maybe you could use these out of budget places as teaching tutorials? I'm a big fan, but I can't keep watching if you don't have anything for me to buy.
I'm glad you got that adorable little bear. Sweet little guy ❤😊
I adore that memory book! I wish people still wrote letters and notes like that...and that penmanship is to die for!
Completely agree! Astetics over names, everytime!
Hang on sweeting- my coffee pot broke last night & I have to run to the neighbors to bum a cup………..😂😎. Elizabeth
Thank goodness for good neighbors
I keep multiple forms of coffee making on hand (pour over, French press, Keurig, mr coffee) so I never have to worry about this happening 😜🤭
I wish I lived in a neighborhood where I could go to the neighbors for coffee.
Oh goodness that’s a true emergency 😂 I sort of go into a panic without my coffee😂😂😂😂
Girl...this is the cutest thing iv ever read.
I enjoyed shopping with you today. And I so enjoy your humor, and knowledge. And I love your laughter.😊
I am heart broken over that scrapbook also. Dang it. Oh i love the head vase she is the last one i need to complete what i have. So fun to see Tina
I adore those lady head vases. They remind me of visiting my Granny as a child. She had a small collection of them.
Love the ballerina tin!!!
Like a walk back through my childhood in the Christmas display cases. The penmanship in the velvet memory book is incredible.
Amazing ephemera!!! 👏
I had to laugh at your laughter! Love your sense of humor 🤣! Thank you. I love watching you and appreciate your knowledge!
Love the tiny black memory baby picture!! My favorite I want that!

That little notebook is everything!
I love the tiny baby picture in the gutta percha case!

What a great video Michael - I had totally forgotten about those drawstring bags from department stores!
It’s Christmas with Michael! Yay!💚❤️🎄
Love all the Christmas! ❤️ Tina, it’s nice to see that I’m not the only one who leaves a store empty handed sometimes. 😄
😂😂
It’s strange to leave empty handed though, isn’t it?
It's always fun love seeing all those nice things
Love the velvet memory book, baby picture in small case and the antique books. So glad you grabbed them ❤️❤️
That purple velvet memory book!! I DIED! I was saying, "Just get it Michael" as you himmed and hawed. Nice find!
You teach me so much.
I heart little tattered bear!
I love the little victorian baby in the picture book the yawning baby was absolutely cute
👋 Michael, you always make me smile. I need to listen to you today. I am having a sick day.
So fun, thanks for sharing ❤
I loved the memory book so much! The handwriting is exquisite. ❤️
That Valentines boy looks like Baby Michael!! You should have that!
Tin box was so cute! Penmanship was beautiful in books. Thanks for sharing!
I love the itty bitty baby photo and reusable notebook!
Nice tour! Live the little witches!🧙🏼♀️
Loved tiny bear and the little witches. Really nice stuff.
You and math!! 😂😂 it was a tough shopping day. You and Tina worked hard. But you found some real treasures.
Yeah Tina! Great items loved the baby picture
I have an autograph book that was from my family…lots of entries! Gorgeous penmanship! I loved the math book reaction! Lol
You two at the end made me laugh. I liked the box with the handkerchiefs. I go old school and still carry a handkerchief and wear brooches.
@ 16.45 to 17.11 black box with baby photo is probably a mourning book/memory for that infant.
Sooooo fun!! I love that tiny victorian note book with stylus!!!
Enjoyed this shop along, you found several items we hadn’t seen before!! Maybe that tiny baby picture fit into Dad’s jacket pocket for when he traveled.??

Those tin types sell really well online. Kat the Nurse Flipper sells them for usually around $150 each.
Really hear and feel your frustration. We as your followers get it. This is your livelihood. Hoping for better days ahead.

Some really fun ephemera pieces today! That tiny framed photo and the mini notebook was my favorite

17:39 Did you notice that catechism book was dedicated on Halloween 🙀
After watching your videos, I look at ephemera more closely now. Thanks!
This was a great place . They had it all. Loved all of the Christmas items and of course the ephemera. Tina is such a sweetheart. See you on your next sale.
Beautiful finds ❤
Can you mention if the private shops you visit will ship items?
I look forward to your TH-cam channel, never miss one!
My favorite item was that ribbon tin. But you found some amazing things today!
Omg 🙌🏻 I’m not an ephemera collector, but I might have to start !!!! The little tin type with the baby 😔🦋 The history… and the cloth scrapbook OMG 🙌🏻 I’m a history / art history nerd … Absolutely great finds !!!!
Hi Michael. I am wondering why you don't shop with Jocelyn anymore. I loved those videos with you both.
I thought the little black picture box was a Victorian mourning piece. We had a similar one in the family. The person inside was deceased in the photo.

I’m with you on the math! LOL
The language in the first book you looked at was Polish.
I would have loved to have looked at the older Santa’s a bit longer and been chatting with you live so I could have you buy one for me, I would have paid you for the piece and whatever your markup was. Hey these venders have got to be finding this stuff cheaper than for what they’re asking! Question is, WHERE are they finding it??

😃❤👍
Have you considered clean outs?
Are you doing Christmas wreaths?
It seems like the prices have gone up across the board. With everything going up do you think you will have to pay more for your purchases?
The Antique Malls have some beautiful merchandise but the prices are at the TOP. For the normal buyer it’s very disappointing to spend the day and leave with nothing. ☹️
Math? Is that some ancient language?
It is! It was before calculators and computers.

How many times is he gonna stay not priced for resale? 😑
How inconsiderate for people to sell things too high for other people to make money off of it.
That script is cursive, another casualty in the downgrading of society.
You mean the dumbing down of our youth.
@@cynthiaarnold5807 That's just part of it, but yes.
Love seeing you and Tina together. Jason was running from the law😂
