  • This is a lot of Husky cars that came in . These cars were made in Great Britain. I have some but now I want more it is fun to find a new avenue to hunt and also learn something in . Thanks for watching and stay EZ 😎

    Very cool Huskys I have two husky VW T1 trucks the Yellow one you have and a light blue luggage conveyor belt loader

    Nice collection, the metallic blue car is a jaguar mk10 and the bronze car im sure is a Sunbeam. I have most of these in my collection. Great video.

    Husky were a brand made in South Wales, UK, by Mettoy Playcraft - the parent company of Corgi Toys. Many of the Husky castings were related in some way to those produced in larger scale by Corgi. They were designed to compete with the success of Matchbox Toys but at a lower cost - hence the high plastic content. The ones you have date from the earlier years of Husky production which began in 1964. Gradually they made them a little more solid with diecast bases and more realistic wheels. Initially the toys were sold in F W Woolworth shops but became more widely available, the inclusion of many American models shows the aim of Mettoy to capture some of the North American market that Matchbox did. Eventually the range was re-named as Corgi Juniors to strengthen the brand identity. Unlike Matchbox Toys the Husky range was sold in blistered card packaging which is impossible to re-seal once opened - just like Hot Wheels.
