Here in the IS people tend to go more snow foam bs citrus or higher alkaline prewash. For me I tend to go more towards foam as I tend to use ph neutral products or I use the pressure washer anyways to detail my offroad tires. Winter time I’ll pre rinse with a rinseless wash ba snow foam

Alkaline products certainly have a very strong place within the regimen but how they are mixed into the process is the more important answer
