All it would take is saying something like that and encouraging her to draw the attention away from her for the good of the family. Like you said she’s probably just as naive as a Snow White. Very easy to trick into acting a certain way. But she really is a nice girl. So I wouldn’t even say Jeannette is the bad one. She’s better than other girls like this in stories where they know exactly what their doing without having to be taught.
