Enjoy this new video all about my growth... not emotionally but purely physically. Hope you find this helpful :) This is definitely something I would've wanted to watch back when I first started.
Just wanted to add, another program people like to hop on after getting past Stronglifts is Wendler's 5/3/1 where you add weight to your training maxes every month. It's a pretty customizable program and can be a short workout which is great for when life gets busy Btw I love your videos and look forward to seeing more of them! I'm joining the MSTP at WashU this Fall and your "What is an MD/PhD" video helped me understand what dual degree training and a physician-scientist career entailed. Excited to join the community!
hey royce, great video. how do you maintain consistency in the gym when you get really busy? when I get really busy for classes and exams, workout has been one of the first things to go... I'm wondering how to maintain consistency with the gym.
Hi Alex, this is definitely a hard balance to find. Everyone’s different, but what works great for me is making time in the mornings right after waking up, so I’m not caught up in classes or hw or research or whatever. Since the 5x5 is three days per week, I would work out in the mornings (maybe like 7:30 am) right before my MWF classes, so it fits in nicely with my school schedule. Hope this helps :)

TBH I have changed from last semester. Due to me using active recall, discussing what I did today with family and less procastination.
Good to hear :))
