It is medical school application season and lot of you have been asking if I could make this video, it is FINALLY here! 🔥🌟
In this video I compare the medical programme of Maastricht University and that of Groningen University, both in the Netherlands.
This is a video I wish I had when I was applying to medical school a few years back. These are the only two universities in The Netherlands in which you can study medicine in English for the first few years.
They are both fantastic programs and you really cannot go wrong with any one of them. But I think, depending on who you are and what you find more important, one of them might be a better fit for you. Hope this video can help you figure out which program is a better fit for you.

@@oxlegacythat’s good to know. I’m unsure bc I didn’t do physics and my bio and Chem are more than 6 years
@@christinalucia6321 yeah I think you might still be fine with Bio and chem but physics is a hard requirement as far as I know. Maybe you could start working on physics now while you have the time and apply next year?

Unfortunately, Groningen discontinued their English track starting this year. So I guess Maastricht is the only choice now haha

Thank you for the super insightful video! I’d like to ask, which uni do you think has a higher acceptance rate for international students?
I think ultimately both have similar odds. Groningen has more spots available for the English track (100) as opposed to Maastricht with varies between 45 and 70.

Brother what are the ielts requirements for both universities + do they consider the overall band only ? Or they take other bands in mind
I am not sure about that. Have you checked the requirements on the websites for both universities?
