Also, to add something actually constructive to this comment: both SEAF missile and SAM site can be seen on the map if you get used to the shapes of them. SEAF is always a circle with a grey "line" in the center representing the cannon (though sometimes the line is hard to spot, the circle is always very defined though), while the SAM (as you pointed out in the video) is a defined square shape with a darker box inside it. I've taken to using this knowledge to just scan the map when I'm missing an objective.
This looks remarkably like a mission I did the other day. I spent nearly 20 minutes looking for the final sub-objective. Finally, when the SD left orbit and sent down the emergency extract shuttle, I gave up and headed to extract. Only to run right into the thing I had missed the entire time. My Democracy Officer had quite a few colorful words for me after extract.
@newspiked7385 You can passively scan the horizon for radio towers and tag each one you see. Tagging the tower part of a radio tower counts as discovering it, and it will appear on your map. Same with SAM site bay doors, if you can get a sight line. Also SEAF cannons. I just wished this worked for hostile objectives...
Nice to see what it's like doing this mission solo. The Resupply climbing trick was put to good use there. I've disabled the Auto-climb after accidentally climbing onto the resupply too many times, but tricks like this us gives us a new appreciation for this (It's not like you need auto-climb for it anyway)
Found out last week that the sam launcher can be destroyed, though it has a massive health pool I landed on the site dropping in so it was the first objective that I found and it was destroyed during extraction after being in map for 40 mins it took damage periodically during the mission from gunship spawns and the spawn rate was out of control
24:35 is where you got turned around. In hindsight, dropping a commando right there and taking it out would have been easy. I hate getting sniped by those so I always liberate them when I run across ‘em.
Do you do your commentaries for solos during or post recording or a bit of both? There are times that it seems like you're talking about the mission as though it's already over and then other times where you're talking as if actively in the fight so I can't tell and I've been trying to figure it out Edit: nevermind you answer the question later in the video lmao
Lol post-record - I lack the multitasking ability to juggle gameplay with live commentary. It's funny how rewatching the footage I can remember what was going through my head though, so I relive my thought processes as much as possible
i wonder what exactly causes the graphical glitch where the clouds in the atmosphere suddenly flash green during the initial helldiver drop pod loading screen cutscene it's been happening since launch and has never been fixed

Yeah, SEAF is fairly easy to spot, especially if it's the 2 circle variant. SAM site I've only now gotten to recognise!

Well that explains why the gunships occasionally shoot at the SAMs if they get close enough

Spiked when you shoot a Strider with the AMR, try to hit the angled piece of armor at the top where the view port is. This two shots them!
Yup, that's my usual target! The hip is actually a one-shot so even faster, but it's a tougher target.
