@@furius117 In Ark Survival Evolved, headshots would inflict torpor damage, but their splash damage would hit the body of the golem, meaning that the last cannon ball's splash damage would always hit the body after the golem is knocked and will cause you to lose effectiveness.
This worked fantastically. I used this to tame my second ever golem which is a 168 wild. Im so happy haha. Thanks!

No, you can kill It if you hit the cannon balls to the body. You Will only lose effectiveness when its already knocked
