What doctrines are you referring to with the m4? Smacking the rifle just about anywhere sends the bolt home, even on the end of the buttstock. It’s much easier to smack it instead of using the thumb, especially in a situation where fine motor skills go to shit.
I think the biggest correction I like about the SCAR-H / FN SCAR is the fact that in the original MW2, the gun had 30 rounds when it's supposed to have 20. Same principle applies to MW 2019.
Tilting the gun is for comfort reasons. Holding the pistol with two hands at a slightly tilted angle actually helps control the recoil slightly better when firing from a ready position because the wrists (particularly the left one if you're tilting it to the left) are more stable/locked vs. when you're holding the pistol vertically. If you want to get as much grip on the pistol as possible to control recoil, your left wrist should be angled slightly more forward than your right hand to let your palm and thumb cover the lower frame. Tilting the gun to the left allows you to do this more comfortably. It allows faster follow-up shots at the cost of accuracy. When aiming down the sights the player holds the pistol perfectly upright to maintain accuracy and sight picture. You can also notice that the player holds some rifles at an angle when not aiming down the sights (for example the M13 and Kilo 141). This makes sense because the player uses a C-Clamp grip to hold the weapon, which is most comfortable when the gun is slightly tilted into your hand (holding the rifle vertically is necessary when aiming down the sights, but when in a ready/relaxed state it's okay to tilt the gun slightly to let the left arm and shoulder relax while using a C-Clamp grip) .
Wow man, you really know your guns :D I didn't say there isn't a reason why guns are tilted... it's just that imo, normal position looks nicer in a game
@Dallas There is no need to complain to the devs, it's their game and their style. It's good that they are experimenting, cod was stale for a long time.
I 100% disagree. Holding it out away from your body and at an angle looks tactical and confident, instead of robotically holding it completely straight one inch away from your face.
MW 2019 guns are realistic af, but I still think that they over did it with the recoils, unless the operators we use are weak af, it seems like I need a silencer on every gun I use. Translation: Every gun feels like the AK-47
I really like the sounds and animation in mw2019 but what I didn’t like is how weapons don’t actually go up, they just use virtual recoil. Look at r6s as an example, the guns fly upwards.
i think i know what u mean by virtual recoil but yeah thats every call of duty. recoil is a joke, when the weapon kicks upward and the sighting is off it still goes straight in eye level instead (assuming this is what you meant, so the animation of the gun kicking upward isn't exactly in line with where the bullet actually lands). i would like a game with as much attention to detail as this cod's but with realistic recoil. rainbow 6 has more realistic recoil for sure and obviously higher skillcap but there is a little bit of unrealisticness to it that is hard to explain. the recoil isn't fake but basically the eye of the operator is always sighted exactly where the gun points whereas in real life the recoil would cause a shift in angle and throw off your sighting, especially for iron sights. if it were more realistic, using full auto would be very hard
Raiden XT Exactly, MW2019 focused on a lot of realism factors but didn’t bother with making the bullets fly around. Mw doesn’t even care about adding a skill gap to the game. In fact they added SBMM and crutch weapons and attachments. It doesn’t have to be like R6s where it punishes you for not knowing the game but at least it should require some more skill like the old Cods.
I love how call of duty kids think that mw 2019 has ”realistic” sound desing but it does not... they have too much bass and its too low pitched. Real guns sound really high pitched and do not have that BOOM effect that mw 2019 has. For example ak47 does not sound anything like in mw2019.... Even Black Ops 1 did it better.
Terra Asara - Yes, it appears so. As an assistant weapons animator, you need a handful of animations, and usually the animators animate one firing animation that’s looped for fully automatic fire.
Zephyr Lol, incorrect. It’s just a heavily modified version of the original engine, remastered from the ground up using original assets given to Raven by IW. Hell, when they used new gun sounds in MWR’s original playtests (where TH-camrs were flown out and recorded gameplay to upload), fans heavily criticized the new audio so they reverted it back to the classic gun sounds for the majority, if not, all guns.
Zephyr Plus if they were to use the MW2019 engine, that would incorporate mechanics like sliding, leaning, bullet travel (as opposed to hit-scan), and all these other new features that would change how the game feels and plays.
After a rushed mw3, the shoddy ghosts, and the lackluster infinite warfare, infinity ward finally knocked it out of the park. THIS is the studio that put COD on the map!

MW 2019 guns are realistic af, but I still think that they over did it with the recoils, unless the operators we use are weak af, it seems like I need a silencer on every gun I use.
Translation: Every gun feels like the AK-47
AKs have little recoil if you know what ur doing apparently.
Mate have u fired a gun irl
My first was a H&K G3
Play COD MW 2019 on 0.75x speed and look at the reload animation
9:00 Four years later and I'm still salty that IW changed the Drag's sound from this to the dogwater sound it got in later seasons

The shotgun reload in mw2 remastered is the only thing that's better than mw 2019
Gosh the sound design in the new modern warfare is amazing
I love how call of duty kids think that mw 2019 has ”realistic” sound desing but it does not... they have too much bass and its too low pitched. Real guns sound really high pitched and do not have that BOOM effect that mw 2019 has. For example ak47 does not sound anything like in mw2019.... Even Black Ops 1 did it better.
It sounds good and satisfying, which is the point
@@CatAdvantage yeah its fine but people think that mw2019 has realistic gun sounds when they are not
Shepard:*Kills ghost*
Also Shepard yrs later: wanna see me do it again?
The fact MW2019 doesn’t keep the iconic Scar H reload that every game has had even Black Ops 2 offends me in a way
Those mw2 sounds are nostalgic you have to admit.
For me the most satisfying weapon reloads are:
MW2019: Ak 47
MW2R: M1911
no, MW2019 is FAL
@@tahabashir3779 For me AK reload animation looks cool.
Cod mw : realism and graphics
Cod mw2 : memories and simply the best
The mp5k is actually in the game files and its something you can make in the gunsmith
I think it's 50-50 for original(and a bit of rework) and freshly new
MW2R used the same graphics engine as MWR; which came out in 2016
Tbh. the Uzi in MW2R sounds and handles alot better than the one in MW 2019. it even has better sights
Imagine a cod mw 2019 remastered in 2030
Just get a gun, kick some asses then it will be the remastered of 2030
imagine if cod actually lasts 10 years longer
the old deagle sound is so nostalgic lol
There is alot that this game got wrong but the gun animations and sounds aren’t one of them
Nothing is over the MW2 deagle sound
Got bored of MW2019 pretty fast. MW2R is pretty damn good tho
MediocreEntertainment (Emil) do you wanna crappy multiplayer or no multiplayer?
@@SoapOfTheMactavish with Warzone is enough for me is the forte of MW just like how Blackout was the forte of BO4
You should've modified the mp5 in mw 2019 to look like the k variant
Man, you forgot the JAVELIN and JOKR
The Deagle sound the same as the old i love it

Is the triggering animation is the loop of tap firing?
Terra Asara - Yes, it appears so. As an assistant weapons animator, you need a handful of animations, and usually the animators animate one firing animation that’s looped for fully automatic fire.
Just why did you not modify the MW 2019 MP5 to be more like the MP5K? Just put Mini barrel
Now do
MW2019 Vs Generation zero
I still like MW2R because MW2 is my childhood game
MW2019 reloads are visceral af i love it
Note that MW2R got the same treatment as MWR, it didn't use the same engine as MW2019, question is why?
Zephyr That would change the feel completely. Remaster, not remake.
@@MiddleEasternGuy MWR and MW2R used different engine than COD4:MW and MW2 but still a remaster 🤷
The improved version of the MW2 M4 (Task Force Blueprint) is better since it's a bit too bulky on the top rail and the upper receiver of the rifle.
*7:06* I've only noticed just now that the charging handle falls back due to the bolt already locked back.
This happens with the Origin 12 too
Sure MW2019 is more realistic, but I prefer MW2R just for that classic deagle noise that just can't be beat.
The Uzi from MW2 sounds better than the MW2R Uzi
The only things they need to do to make the old cod gun sounds better is to just give it more bass
After a rushed mw3, the shoddy ghosts, and the lackluster infinite warfare, infinity ward finally knocked it out of the park. THIS is the studio that put COD on the map!
Imagine MW2R with MW 2019 sfx
I hope they add full auto to the x16 i feel it would give anouther reason to actually use it
