    Both и & і are pronunced as /i/ but sometimes the і is pronunced like ы.
    How і is pronunced as a double e sound or as like schwa sound? Like it would depend on the consonant?
    Thanks. 😊😊😊

    • @zangarzhanabek
      @zangarzhanabek 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Salem.
      I i -- ы
      I ı (like Turkish Ы) -- /i/

    • @zangarzhanabek
      @zangarzhanabek 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Like in Turkish, but vice versa

    • @cs631oflu
      @cs631oflu 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@zangarzhanabek yeah I know that Ы is pronounced like schwa, what I'm pointing out is that both of these и & і pronounced like /i/ sound, but sometimes the latter is pronounced with schwa-like sound

    I have heard translation using Жатырмын for present continuous. Ex: Мен жұмыс істеп жатырмын. Is this a regional thing? I have also heard different words EX: Әпки for teacher mostly in zhambyl. Is there different dialects or is just multiple words that can be used interchangeablu

    Рахмет Жаннур ❤
    But why do you have retired ( I don't speak english very well...) the scripts in cyrilic ? 😄 I can't read phrases now, it's more difficult 😅

    • @kazakhlanguagewithzhannur
      @kazakhlanguagewithzhannur  6 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Camilla G we are switching to Latin Alphabet. Especially for you in the description I wrote all phrases in Cyrillic.

    • @camillag5871
      @camillag5871 6 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Kazakh language with Zhannur Yes I learned about that and it's sad because ( I think ) that your language is better with Cyrilic. I learned Cyrillic especialy for kazakh and now you're passing to our alphabet 😫
      Well. Thank you so much, I'll see in description and I'll start learning kazakh in Gregorian 😄 bye Жаннур

    • @camillag5871
      @camillag5871 6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hélène Villard are you French too ? 😊 But we're okay, I prefer Cyrillic. But we know that Kazakhstan need to change its alphabet now, so we must adapt us ^•^

    • @camillag5871
      @camillag5871 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hélène Villard Ah bonne nouvelle ça !
      Ouais mais il paraît que c'est pour qu'ils puissent '' élargir leurs frontières '' en gros s'ouvrir mieux à l'Europe et à l'économie internationale. Et il est assez vrai qu'ils en ont besoin 😊 je leur souhaite sincèrement de gagner de l'influence et de la notoriété, c un magnifique pays plein d'atouts
      Mais je pense que si on continue à lui demander, Жаннур mettra les deux alphabets comme avant ^•^.
      Mais c'est vrai que le Kazakh en Cyrillique vaut mieux qu'en Grégorien, on a pas appris tt un nouvel alphabet pr rien tout de même ! 😂
      Bref, cool d'apprendre qu'il y a encore une autre française qui apprend le Kazakh ^•^

      Hélène Villard and Camilla G I will continue to do video lessons in Cyrillic, but only in description. Let me explain you why, because in 5 years we are planning to fully switch to Latin Alphabet. It means that in the future we will use only Latin.
      My video lessons will stay here forever, so I think I need to start to do them in Latin now, because, after 10-20 years we will not use Cyrillic and the videos that I made in Cyrillic might be useless in the future.
      In my opinion, the important thing is speaking. I will try my best to give you more interesting and free lessons. Thank you for learning Kazak language with me and for understanding.
