I just went from mobil 1 to magnatec I've got to say its smoother idle acceleration is smoother quicker response Im not too sure if I should keep using it though.
Castrol magnatec additives are different to other oils.. most leading synthetic oils are almost equal.. No oil company show their secrets of additives.. 5w30 for new gasoline cars.. after 1lakh kms shift to 5w40 .. after 3lakh kms you can opt 5w50 for tropical season .. For diesel cars 5w40 is good enough grade oil since diesel engines have good torque and don't rev high.. but compression keeps car propelled and 5w40 works just fine. My opinion !!
Yeah no. I've seen engines opened up after running only on Magnatec. When the Magnatec "magic" breaks down eventually it sludges the engine into submission. I'd consider EDGE, maybe - Magnatec will never see me or a client - ever.
its funny how most all cars are roller cams and they show flat tapped engines. would you use magnatec if it was changed every 3,000 miles? im not a machanic, so im sure you know more than me. i just change my oil every 3000 miles or 6 months.
Polar bonding is the secret but it's really nothing new when you're talking about synthetic oil. Synthetic oil bonds to metal better than conventional oil no matter the additive pack.
I will start using this in my vehicles. Thank you Castrol team.
I have used Castrol since 1970 and have never even had my heads off Shelby gt 350 to present.
Yes Yes Vientos Perfect Castrol Magnatec 💯👉👍

3000 miles is the right distance to keep your engine going strong! Way to take care of your ride Frank.
e0dge what
If its so good, why is it so cheap? The price is the same as Walmart SuperTech oil. Also why is Castrol Edge more expensive than Castrol Magnatec?
Nick V I ‘believe’ because edge is Full Synthetic.
walmart is a group 3 syn
castrol is 4-5

Magnetic is horrilbe because the engine burns it
No varnishing of internals?
Db hhj....
Oil is oil the more you pay the better it is going to be. It is just that simple.
