Hi, just wanted to say that I absolutely love your channel. It's so nice to see a real family living minimally. Plus I love that you homeschool and eat Paleo!!!! Thank you for your videos, I'm still watching but have been so inspired.
+Julie Quates Thanks so much and thanks for watching! I will try to make a new video soon. It's so hard to find time to film one with all the kids in the house. :)
+Tabrina Whitlow Thanks! Thanks for watching. My biggest tips in the bathroom are reducing towels and finding a bath product that is multiuse and that everyone can use the same thing. I love that Everyone Soap in coconut lemon scent because it works for shampoo, body wash, and bubble bath and everyone can use the same thing.
+Patricia Keele Me too! It makes a great step stool for kids and then grown ups can use the bathroom without having to move a step stool out of the way.. And, I've heard they create good posture. :)
+Family Minimalism thanks! You're doing great. Keep posting. I can see you don't like plastics and lot of waste. I don't know how you get your family to support your minimalist living. My husband is a hoarder and he doesn't even know it lol. I get overwhelmed sometimes.
+Live Intentionally Thanks for watching! We just got one for the kids' bathroom, and so far I love it. I like it for a kids step stool because it fits around the toilet instead of taking up all the space in front.
fantastically minimal. have you done a video of how you became a minimalist or have you always been pretty minimal? I will check. if you haven't I would love to see!!! :-)
+Finding a way No, I haven't, but I should. My answer is unclear I guess. I think it's been a work in progress of stages throughout my life. I've always been organized and hated clutter, but things I didn't always see as clutter I now do. I think it's learning over the years what works and what is really needed.
Honestly I don't know because they were a gift, but I'm sure Target or Bed Bath and Beyond have similar ones. I've also seen cute one at Pottery Barn Kids.
Hi Melissa I love the squatty potty. Do you think you will be doing a tour of your teenage boy bedroom, I would to see it, thanks for another inspirational video :)
+CC main Thanks! We have a 3 bedroom house, so the little boys are in one room and my daughter is in another. All three little kids used to share the same room and the two teenage boys had the other. When both older boys moved out, the little boys were moved into their old room. Our 19 year old needed to move back home for awhile, so he has a bed and his clothes, etc. set up in the garage for now. I had never filmed their room when they both lived at home, but they had a set of bunk bed, which are now the little boys' twin beds not bunked, and two desks.
Wait until they're 9. They won't want the toys nor baths.. they'll enjoy showers. I have a 10 yr old and he's all about his phone and friends more than any toys.
Thank you so much for all of your videos. It has been so hard finding minimalism videos for families. Obviously with kids you need some stuff and I never know what to keep and what to get rid of but I have been binge watching all of your videos today and I am beyond ready to get started. I have been putting it off. How long have you been cleaning stuff out? What made you get started?
+BuggyandBubbasMama I think it's a long process, at least for me. Maybe some people can do it fast, but for me it's taken years to get to where we are now, which is not where I want to be yet. You go through things and decide you can part with certain things and then as time goes on you realize you can let go of even more and then even more. As you keep going you get more ruthless about it I think, and as time goes on you just realize you are ready to let go of more things. For example . . . I recently went through the kids' memory boxes and decided I was ready go let go of baby clothes I was saving of theirs. I kept some that would fit my little girl's dolls and put them in her toy boxes and then took pictures of the rest. I wasn't able to do that before. I also went through my memory box and scanned or took pictures of all the paper items I could and let them go. We also recently let go of the rest of our physical books realizing that whenever we read we are going to do it on an ipad. Things you don't think you want to let go of one day, you might realize you can another day. Good luck with your journey! Just get started anywhere and you'll pick up steam as you go. Thanks for watching!

Thanks for sharing your home with us. I've been tempted to get a squatty potty. I like how well it tucks away.

Could you do videos on what you all eat and how you keep you fridge organized and grocery haul etc? Thanks!
+Mary Viera Good ideas, thanks! I will work on that as I get better in those areas myself. :) Goals for this year!

Did it come yet?
+ Family Minimalism where did you get those hooded towels..they're adorable. I want one for my little granddaughters.
Honestly I don't know because they were a gift, but I'm sure Target or Bed Bath and Beyond have similar ones. I've also seen cute one at Pottery Barn Kids.
