I am not a camera, more like a sponge soaking up the content around me, your series is ambrosia to my palate, you have made it interesting and have broken down a very hard to comprehend subject and made it very easy to absorb, well done sir. Be reassured that you are not just speaking to a camera, we are listening
Hey Buildasoil Team, THANK YOU. As a first time home grower in newly legalized MN, this series has been illuminating. Cant wait to place my order. Love this series already, cant wait to catch up to the newer series.
This has been one of the most informative set of productions I have seen. My wife and I tune in to every update. Thanks for doing these and being so informative.
Even a basic tea already brewed and just adding it to every watering helps tremendously. Love organic growing just in general. The plant takes what it wants. U just water. Soil gets better everytime you use it. Best fruits ever. Super concentrated flavors.
I’ve never recommended a TH-cam channel before until I started watching BuildASoil. The person I recommended to loves your channel too. Watching all the coming up episodes. Thank you. Very informative.
I can't believe I barely found this channel! I see build a soil products at my local way to grow here in Colorado springs!! Much love and keep the great content flowing!!
To see you candidly say you overwatered and your constant humility is so refreshing, as a beginner It lets me know I can trust your word and your companies products!
So true what you said about the slowest vegging plant. I had wrote Blue Power off for exactly that. Not to mention it has an attitude lol. Stuck it out thru the veg and the flower was amazing. Thank you for the videos and the wealth of information. We really appreciate you Jeremy!
i found that putting a bag full of compost in a 5 gallon bucket full of water, lightly rubbing it for 30 seconds at least, will give you some dank compost water that makes your plants blow up(or any garden), getting rid of any deficiencies. Of course always make sure to proper lasagna dress your pots every once in awhile so the microbes can break them down ;).
You can buy a filter screen that goes on top of your bucket, they work really well. Another solid video. Novice growers listen to this cat. Experienced growers like myself, I always learn a little something watching. 🌲🌲🌲
Just got my bubblesnake and I'm absolutely in love with it the way it is it really churns the water nicely and they handwrote me a thank you note. Which was a really nice touch and put a smile on my face for the day so thank you Tealab!!!
When brow guy 420 was teaching I listened and learned a very valuable way of growing Organics, the worms, the right ingredients in your mix will give astonishing results, there’s no need for over doing things trust me with all of this and that, KISS approach is all that’s needed, I miss that guy for real! Thanks BG 420
Ithink this is my second time in my life I post some comment on TH-cam. I must say that this is awesome channel full of organised well spoken knowlage !!!
Very good! Always need to pay attention to people who share informative documentary videos as such...especially with all those organic amendments at their disposal.Jeremy...you know your stuff and thankypu for sharing!
Jeremy could you please do a video on compost extracts not teas because from my observations and documentation from Scott staments it's more effective and is better then brewing tea wondering what your thoughts are on this particular topic . .... Thanks keep up the great work
Wondering about this also. My veteran growing friend doesn't do teas anymore. Mainly worm casting "extracts". Would be fantastic if he touches on this subject
This is a great series and very well delivered, keeping my attention. I am trying organic now for the first time after a few years of bottled nutes in soil less growing, and you’ve inspired me to add some vegetables to my tent as well!
Yeah 10 will work but 25 are much easier to use and more effective moisture is crucial and if your pots dry out you loose whatever biology you took the time building especially if you like growing bigger plants like myself don't use 10s for no till it's a hassle 15 bare min but if you have space I highly recommend 25 ..... fun fact .....it takes myco fungi 90 days to establish itself from dormancy that's something alot of growers are clueless about when you buy a bail of soil and it say with mycorhyzae they neglect to say takes 3 months to establish itself lol
Had somebody DM me this morning telling me I do too much for my cannabis plants and that teas are 100% a waste of time. I just responded Ok bro. Lol some people just hate cuz thats all they know!
it is n0t 100% wasfe of time. Maybe like 30% lol. His soil mix is already too good. with just watering it they will grow perfectly fine. there r no rrason to give more i think... Sometimes Less js more
@Midwest Grower I do use recharge too for diversity. But what I like most about teas is you can fine tune them for your stages of growth! Teas aren't for everybody though if you're using nutes that are already broken down that go straight to the roots vs raw ingredients that need to be broken down via micro biology then brought to the plant its all about what you chasing. Also my teas are built from scratch and don't cost much to make so why not ya know. Happy growing dudes!!
Love these vids lately bro well done, admire you leaving the over watered royal revenge to show all the novice growers out there, at the end of the day we all human and nobody’s perfect 🏴💯 we live and learn 👍🏽
What type of lettuce are you growing in this season one series? And how are you watering it? I would love to see an episode of demonstrations of how you water each plant in each quadrant. Awesome videos! Thanks so much
When you say the one plant threw a fit after defoliation, what signs did the plant show to show it was stressed? What should we be looking for when identifying stress?
Instead of leaf lift and prayer along with visible plant growth the next day, it was droopier and not ready to rage. Sometimes as you garden it's kind of like talking to a pet and eventually you just know the vibes and will relate to it.
Your plants are raging in growth can't wait to see how fast they go after the flip I have been growing using OMRI feet all dry and seed.sprouted tees but the next grow will be totally different can't wait
Would adding some type of water meter, in the soil; help with the problems associated with, either over/under watering? I'm a new viewer, so excuse me if I missed a previous video.
So bubbling the water is in essence electrolyzing the water? Creating oxygen gas in the water? So bacteria from compost can what, activate? Is this basically like a yeast proof but using a compost microorganisms for the substrate instead of yeast?
I know this is done three years ago and I may not get an answer to this but can somebody tell me when are you pitching your water is it when it's just water and you're putting in your ingredients or is it when you're ready to use it because if you do it before your pH is not going to last till you're done brewing and ready to use
Dude, this series is so good. Made my first BAS order a couple weeks ago. Cant wait for the defoliation video. I’m having trouble deciding what to remove and what to leave. Each node has leaves and a branch. I want to know when, and how far up, to remove these side growth branches. Hope that makes sense, thanks.
I love the videos! very helpful, will you be doing any ipm preventative in this grow? I noticed you have not sprayed anything but also have not had any pests. thanks. - Nick
Quick tip, when putting the hose on the pump use a heat gun to heat up the hose, makes it flexible and a lot easier to put on. A lighter or torch will also work just be careful not to burn it, move the lighter back and forth so its just briefly hitting the hose.
So for a new grower like myself waiting on all my stuff to get here to start my next go around in no till for the first time what is going to be the best way to avoid over watering I would like to know thanks
For sure the numbers help. When you run around with a watering can hitting all plants as if they are the same without paying attention to your own rules it can bite you in the ass. Like any chef, just because I know the rules doesn't mean I don't eyeball it most of the time.

Whatever the plants need. When small it might be 2-4 days between 5% waterings. At this point it's normally everyday or every other day in the 10 gallon grassroots pots because they drink that fast. Going into stretch for the first 2 weeks of flower I'll be doing that almost daily. Sometimes I will skip a day and then go harder than 5% next time if they need it. 5% is a good number to not oversaturate your soil, beyond that it's up to you to read the plant for the frequency. Hope that helps.
I've been using the upgraded tea lab recipe only. With the compost, insect frass, bokashi, molasses, azomite, great white for microbe innoculant. The kelp meal, humid acid after brew. I tried to ph last time around because it was at 4.8 and it took a lot of ph up to balance it out. You said the soil will balance it out in the last video so I won't be wasting ph anymore.
I'm in process of accumulating everything I need to Bokashi with the intent of building soil. My question is, can I use the tea, diluted, from the Bokashi container? Rather, how can I use it in conjunction with your products?
How do you add magnesium to a compost tea? I theorized that epsom salt would destroy the microbiology in the water because that's what salts do in soil but idk. Any input would be appreciated

Do you still top water earth boxes occasionally with microbes and aloe or coconut etc, or do you add directly to the reservoir?
As always amazing content! There are so many new to living soil and this is just perfect for us! Thanks again for your time and knowledge!

Keep on watching him, can’t go wrong!
Extra special episode, I leave my airstones on 247! Good call on overheating, maybe I should use a timer to cool the pumps down.

naw you should be good and should already know your water sources ph. as long as youre growing natural.

Thoughts on top dressing with compost and worm castings, and then watering in with molasses at roughly 1tbsp. per gallon - as opposed to using a tea?
I've heard people kind of talk down on mollasses saying that it causes a huge population spike in microbiology, but subsequently also causes an equally as dramatic die off when they eat all the mollasses and start to starve off.
All those extra dead microbes get consumes by the living microbes and bacteria and thrive off of their byproducts.

What is your opinion in using fermented plant juice?
You could fold over the edges on the cage as well. Leaving more holes to be available for scrogging
Do you have to pollinate your peppers to get them to produce
How do you add magnesium to a compost tea? I theorized that epsom salt would destroy the microbiology in the water because that's what salts do in soil but idk. Any input would be appreciated
