If the owner didn’t want her anymore why not take her to a shelter, why abandon her, she was once your companion, full of life and look at her now, she still needs love, food someone to care for her. I live in Missouri, and I expect more from the city of St. Louis. The number of stray animals in the city has reached epic proportions. The economy has led to people having to make a choice; do I keep my pet or feed my family? Do I pay for my kid to go to the dentist or pay to have my pet neutered/spayed? Shelters are overwhelmed and filled to capacity. I am begging anyone who can to become a foster. Independent homes where these sweet animals can live and be cared for can be the miracle we need to keep animals from suffering needlessly until they can find a forever home. Please, please volunteer!
