- This video is an introduction to the chi-square test, including a description of how it is used, its elements, and the assumptions data must meet to be analyzed by the test. The assumptions of chi-square, including sample size and independence of observations, are reviewed.
Best profesor ever in every thing!!!!!!!!! Thanks!!!!!!!!!!!
Interesting video. I liked the examples on the elements for a chi-square being either, a test of independence or of goodness of fit.
Doc you can't imagine how helpful this is
This video helped me clarifying exactly what to include in the analysis part of my proposal. Thank you for making this video easy to understand and follow.
Many Thanks Dr. Grande, your videos are awesome
You're welcome - thanks for watching!
Thanks Doc,
Thanks a lot!
Dr. Grande, I gave you a thumbs-up, but a point of clarification is needed.
In your other video at th-cam.com/video/BPoHy4wGBMk/w-d-xo.html you are demonstrating "goodness of fit" chi-square but calculating expected values as you do here in a "test of independence."
Is a calculation of expected values to be done in both types of tests? (Here, of course, it seems simple logical that we expect an equal number of heads and tails, so we don't need to go through the exercise of computing expected values.) I would guess your answer is "yes" because the function CHISQ.TEST requires both actual and expected.
Thanks for your answer and thanks for (usually) making is simple.
