There's other shorts too. Mabel's Guide to Life shorts, Fixin' it With Soos, and a handfull of others. But Dippers Guide to the Unexplained was the big ones since there were two hidden codes in those end cards. The first one reads "FROM THE FIRST UNTIL THE LAST / SEARCH THE CODES OF CREDITS PAST / ONE MEANS ONE SO SEARCH THEM ALL / WELCOME TO GRAVITY FALLS." The Second one says: "I WAS SO BLIND. HE LIED TO ME. THE DARKNESS IS NEAR."

The Dipper’s Guide shorts gave me nightmares when I was a kid 😅😅 Like the left-facing guy, giant tooth, and woods guy are terrifying but then the mailbox was super existential and I was in like fourth grade
I vividly remember watching the shorts on my Disney XD app on my iPad growing up. Since my parents couldn’t afford the premium version of the app, I could only watch the shorts, which I would watch over and over again. Also, the shorts are important. Everything thing from this moment on is important.
I think Lefty is my favorite of these! I also love how dark it is, plus the intricate design of the inside of the guy is fun. It kind of reminds me of the half-man from Sandcastles, the short that the movie Old was based off of. Plus the whole "I have never seen the other side of this person and it's driving me to insane lengths" is a classic setup for like, an old cosmic horror story from the 1930's or something that I really dig the aesthetic of.
I presume that, in the time since you recorded this, you have found out that there's a bunch more of these: several episodes each of _Mabel's Guide to…_ and _Fixin' It with Soos_ and _Gravity Falls Public Access TV_ plus one more from Mabel's scrapbook.
Fun fact: if you play the audio backwards the giant floating head says, "You have awakened my slumber! Enter my mouth, children! Enter your destiny! RAAAAHH!" I mean, depending on your definition of "fun" of course. Also, unlike a lot of the Gravity Falls critters, like the Gobblewonker or the Gremloblin, the Hide-Behind is an actual American cryptid, like Bigfoot

The floating island head was definitely the most terrifying.
Disney xd still plays these in commercial breaks in the late night hours, usually during Phineas and Ferb reruns.
8:18 Keep the tattoo in mind later!
19:12 That little giggle Indi made was soo cute 😭😭
Theres a TON more shorts you've missed, specifically a series of Mabel ones.
and you didn't watch the second Mabel's scrapbook video.
Can you share the full list? How many are there in total?

@@SputnikSpyglass OMG YEY! I love the Mabel's Guide ones, it's more like the contrast to Dipper's shorts rather than the scrap book one.

1:28: Oh. You're gonna love the lighting and shading of season 2 then.
I love the shorts so much😭 theyre so funny. I think i enjoyed them more than the actual show as a child😂

I love the SCP-esque vibe of the GF's shorts.

"Homelander cow" What? Just because it has laser vision!? Homelander don't have limbs like that. XD

Cool I didn't know the hide behind was a real concept!
i used to be really scared of the hide-behind
I still am.
Personally of the shorts you watched in this video, I think the one with Octavia is my favourite
18:59❤love her
Fun fact: That floating tooth face says something in English if you reverse the audio.
I remember a lot more shorts? Were they in a different order, like Mabel's Guide to Color and Fixing It with Soos?
These episodes aren’t in order at all the petting zoo one is literally the last episode of the shorts😭
5:46: LORE SHORT!
