We sold all our customers with those space guard 201 filters the upgrade kit to upgrade them to the 213. So much better filter. I hated having to do all those combs on the 201. They are so brittle now and break all the time. 213 is like an accordion and slides in on a metal track and upgrades filtration to merv 13.
Not much different from the Payne unit I used to have to contend with...except these are updraft rather than downdraft. (I know Payne is owned by Carrier)
Use superzilla green wonder oil, Best I found yet just as good as the old zoom spout if anybody remembers that stuff but the best part about the superzilla is that it's non-flammable biodegradable and safe also to use on food equipment
Junk, whole assembly was loose? Maybe bearing, maybe wheel rubbing? Sounds like trash but, hate to replace just motor to find out assembly is junk for whatever reason.
I replace the inducer assembly. I don’t write up motor. Yet it was running smooth when I left. The rotor looked beat up on the motor. The customer wanted it replaced, and it was 2 days later. Still running and not over amping.
Also not sure if you noticed that first unit on the left check the flames or should I say check the gas pressure those flames did not look correct it a lot of dirty flames going through there I thought it may have been just a dust particles from the door but it had a lot of kickback
Those heat exchangers are more than likely cracked. The right one had alot of disturbance. These model carriers always crack, pull the main limits and look right where the cell makes a loop. They always crack there.

@@thehvachacker that's why if you know they're cheap... never give them a temporary fix!! Cheap can wait in the cold a day or two 😂🤣

should we be checking those heat exchangers on a call like this ? after hours etc. no hate genuinely curious. I know sometimes its a pain to get to
Honestly on these ones its easy as pulling the high limit and you'll probably find a crack on the dimple

Been doing that for the last 15 16 years don't know how many I found cracked
