When the Evangelicals and the Islamist eat our Prasadhams/stop attacking Hindu culture, the true pluralism will dawn in India. Until then conflict would continue.
Dr Tripathi speaks of Muslim groups like the one in Rajasthan and Christian groups who are part of the metaphorical banyan tree. Actually, that idea that all ways lead to God is a Hindu one. The mainstream Muslim and Christian position is that each has a monopoly of Truth and that they should eliminate the Hindu religion and Indian culture and replace it with their own. Muslim groups like some Sufis are not mainstream. That mainstream Abrahamic position does not tolerate the Indic pluralism ideal Dr Tripahi is speaking about. Dr Tripathi should take cognizance of this.
