He's an incredible artist through and through, horror isn't really my fancy, but man this can't be described as anything other than art. Okay but anyone know the whole tiktok artist trend where it was like: "the last thing you drew is coming to kill you. How fucked are you?" This man has 100% officially taken the cake! The talent of a vivid imagination of on the spot drawing. He didn't think about this for days on end, or ponder what it might look like, he did it Johnny well on the spot. That takes talent, creepy or not, talent! Awesome!☻
The video seems silly but that's actually a good exercice. "Getting things to the next level" or a different style without altering much of the line work is a good way to focus on texturing and giving actual volume to shading, without having to worry about everything else one don't master yet. Anyone new to that part of drawing should do something like that once, at least for fun and giggles.

TH-cam: What are you all drawing? Willd: I drew FNF characters! EvanD: I drew Undertale characters! Jordan Persegati: I drew what the voices told me to draw.
This is probably the only reason a grown up professional artist would want a coloring book. Or if he's wanting to practice coloring, who knows. I prefer the first one, adding some horror to kids content is really interesting and opens your mind.
That's why I much prefer existential horror, it builds and builds solely on your imagination and what you think might be there without a need to every actually see the monster.
When I did stage makeup as a hobby, I would always do horror designs because the definitions of cute and beautiful are so narrow. That, and my teacher was easily freaked out.
Depend, body horror yes, other than that, not so much, some of the greatest horror book don't rely on detailed picture to scare people, after all, what is scarier than your own imagination
Reminds me about something that I read on Twitter that mostly artistic people, especially painter or sculpture, they already see the final forms in the object. They decided to turn it real and make it come true through learning the techniques.. And this guy probably has the final image already before making it

The most interesting part is at the beginning of each drawing, when he turns something that’s supposed to be “cute” into “creepy” with just a few little changes. Making a smile broader, eyes seem smaller, turning round edges into sharp ones and so on. It’s very fascinating to watch
A lot of it has to do with who's looking at it too. Different things are creepy or cute to different people. So some of these could be considered an improvement in cuteness while others could come across as very creepy depending on the details around it. Etc. For example trypophobia is very triggering for me and one of the most disgustingly creepy things ever, but the rest are still pretty cute to me. Even the finished trypophobia one is still cute its just....I want to scratch the fucking holes off his face. Sorry..

“Have you ever wondered what Olaf would look like made out of human skin”
Um..well no..not personally.
Stuff like this doesn't bother me. Ever. But that Anna drawing was enough to slightly unsettle me. Congratulations.
It was a work of horrific art. It would terrify me if I saw it.
I was too busy analyzing it to learn from it, for it to even have a chance to unsettle me
I agree I’m not bothered by creepy things often but this.. is on a whole nother level

This is probably the only reason a grown up professional artist would want a coloring book. Or if he's wanting to practice coloring, who knows. I prefer the first one, adding some horror to kids content is really interesting and opens your mind.

@@R0BERTMAY haha
Horror in my opinion is hardest to draw since it requires the highest amount of details to make it look realistic enough
I always love the way you draw blood, it's so convincing
I honestly wouldn’t be able to sleep knowing that I made these. This takes a certain mind set, and I love it

I will never look at a coloring book the same way again. I love this video.
as a person who loves horror, I would rate it a 10/10 ,your skill with art is AMAZING
The most interesting part is at the beginning of each drawing, when he turns something that’s supposed to be “cute” into “creepy” with just a few little changes. Making a smile broader, eyes seem smaller, turning round edges into sharp ones and so on. It’s very fascinating to watch
First one wasn't creepy at all
Ok, you know too much... Take this girl down.
I’m pretty sure that’s how art works. The slightest changes to anything would make it look weird or “creepy” as you put it.
Sorry..

The Olaf one reminded me of a dream I had a couple of nights ago. I was a necromancer who was in love with a necromancess, and we were in a school for mages. However, the dean was sacrificing students for his dark arts, and me and my love had to prove to the school his crimes.
Eventually, we engaged the dean I'm combat. I used my powers to absorb the flesh of the undead creations all of us made into myself, and I became a hulking flesh giant to defeat the dean.
This act consumed the rest of my life force. I turned to my necromancess, and realized I had been dead the entire time. I told her it was time to let me go now that our deed was done, and that I'll see her on the other side. With a look of regret she released her magic, and I woke up.
We kinda had the same dream but with element mages
