I’m 31, my music teacher in Middle School introduced this to us to show us “string instruments can be cool”. She was never wrong 😅 I still love this song to this day ❤
So underrated STILL....just goes to show you brilliance and talent can be so over looked! What do the rest of us do??? So much passion and style....that album should have been triple platinum!!! They are some BAD boys!!
The best thing about the violin, is its flexibility, it can literally pair with anything. Great percussion, brass, or even an electric guitar. I agree, one of my favorite instruments. It's truly a credit to the world we live in.
@@Racye-bf7vn I fell in love with this instrument at age 8 when our music teacher introduced it to us, I haven't played it since. We learned to play so many instruments but this one has haunted me in a good way. I'm turning 25 next month & I think I'm finally going to pursue my passion- the violin. 🎻
I usually hate it when people implement classical in hiphop viceversa. But these guys just perfect it. They don't show classical for superficial gains they have emotion and passion. This is a great song/piece
How can you unlike this....? This guys has been my heroes for years now! I want to see so much more of them!!! I love them and their music are magic and their tones are just perfection! I wish to see them one day
Take a step in their shoes and just imagine their journey while listening to this song, from the subway, two brothers striving to achieve their dreams, only playing the violins to get there. Its a fantastic and, just completely awesome expression of emotions through their music, each peace (yes its supposed to be piece but the reference is too perfect here), is an excerpt of their lives put onto music sheets and played for the world. Truly amazing.
I think that these guys are some of the most talented I've heard in a while. There ability to group classical and a lil bit of modern music is what it takes to get the attention of our young people. I heard broken sorrow from my 14/year old daughter. Keep it up guys your awesome.
The man upstairs is proud of you two, I'm sure he can hear the reason play from the tips of your fingers, reverberating to the heart and resonating with the soul. Passion. Thanks for inspiring.
April 2021 as Prosecution wraps up the case for George Floyd. May justice be served. RIP This is a grand song by Violinists Damien Escobar and Tourie Escobar.
These gentlemen are amazing. I just saw them on Nickjr. I stopped what I was doing to watch these guys. I was reading the word the God and was amazed, thrilled, and in awe of the talent the Lord Almighty has given these two! I don't know if they read these posts. But hopefully someone will tell them how truly amazing their gift is and it is a blessing on whomever hears it!
These 2 made me enjoy music in a new light please don't stop 🙏 I need to know if y'all will do shows near me in Spokane WA I'd pay to see this live omfg sooo good
I find it amazing how people dislike these amazing men and what they can accomplish with such a small musical instrument. One has to remember that all music performances originated with only instruments and not song. Look at all the musicians from the past and what they did for the music industry. Keep up the great work.
I watch this video over and over and over I love the music you guys are the best. I feel that Orchestra. I pray that you all continue to be successful is truly amazing for me. Thank you Mom for introducing your son to the violins they blew it out. Sometimes when you speak into the phone the words do not come out right
I heard them before americas got talent , they were on step up the first movie. At MSA playing bach i think? or beethoven . I had to searxh them after that . They were so good then but amazing now
Damien Escobar still rocks it, but I haven't seen anything from the "Duo" in a while. Damien Escobar is truly gifted and naturally has what people try their whole life trying to get.
I used to listen to this sound track before my father died .. he often came to my room while I am listening to it .. now listening give me a vivde memory of him .. with the sad melody .. it is just perfect
I understand that... my mother recently passed and I also have songs I adored and didn't really get that deep into sadness for until after she was gone.
Fantastic. Absolute Perfection. Reeling from your mastery of music and art. Goethe said something to the effect that Architecture is frozen music... Well, your music has brought both Spring and Summer to the winters of what was once the violin frozen in tradition. Rejoining in the Harvest!
I love classical music as well current hip-hop and the music our culture brings into society. This is breathtaking-I am so glad they can appreciate these classical instruments and meld them together in something so original and fresh. This is real music.
Gave me tingles always have to count that as blessing! AMAZING GOOD FOR THEM ORIGINALITY IS SOMETHING TO APPRECIATE, JUST WHEN EVERYTHING SOUNDS ALIKE OR PLAYED OUT.....POOF TRUE ARTISTS !! I LOVE MUSIC AND APPRECIATE THAT WE ALL ARE UNIQUE , THEREFORE MUSIC WILL ALWAYS BE DYNAMIC !! NAMASTE
Why did they have to spell nothing, "nuttin'?" damn. their music is unbelievable and their story is amazing and their look is classy, but something had to be ghetto right? smh.
LOL shut up, who da fuk, care how dey wanna spEll shiet how dey wannna speel shiet eh? Have fun with that. The guy that proof read hilters speeches was a grammar Nazi, and we know how that ended up.
This is probably my favorite music piece of all times. I first heard it on an episode of HBO boxing 24/7b Mayweather vs Cotto. I literally had to rewind that part of the episode to listen to it again. And again. And again. And again! It is truly moving. Sometimes it expresses all those things we can’t say out loud that need to be released ready to try again. 🙌🏾 Sometimes it’s the motivation to keep going at it ; to keep getting better. It’s relatable in the way only music can.
Every once in a while I come back to this, it is my all time favorite song for when I'm just not feeling it.
I wonder what these dudes are up to today
One of them is still doing music, Damien Escobar
I’m 31, my music teacher in Middle School introduced this to us to show us “string instruments can be cool”. She was never wrong 😅 I still love this song to this day ❤
9 years and never got bored .. could still be listening to this the day I die...

My old dance studio I attended did a ballet to this. It was absolutely breathtaking
damn, forgot all about this piece. probably been 10 years since I last heard it, still love it
kitaptaki müzik önerilerinin hepsi mükemmel, okurken dinlemek anlamı ve duyguyu daha da güçlendiriyor.. teşekkürler Azra Kohen
This makes me feel like the violin is crying. Am in Love ...
I remember being so inspired by them that i bought myself a violin. It didnt turn out so well but their music's still kickin' !
Keep practicing ! You will play just like them eventually !
dude, they are seriously the best out there. I've seen a lot of violin videos and nothing compares to their music. love it.
So underrated STILL....just goes to show you brilliance and talent can be so over looked! What do the rest of us do??? So much passion and style....that album should have been triple platinum!!! They are some BAD boys!!
absolutely truth, they are the roots of great violin pop
This is why i think the sound of the violin is better than any instrument :)
The best thing about the violin, is its flexibility, it can literally pair with anything. Great percussion, brass, or even an electric guitar. I agree, one of my favorite instruments. It's truly a credit to the world we live in.

I fell in love with the violin at age 8, actually earlier. It's still my strength

Beautiful song. You guys are pure geniuses!!
WOW! I take back everything bad I've ever said about Hip Hop. I knew the genre had potential and these guys took it over the top and beyond.
Ok actually Flipsyde was really good too but they kind of went downhill after there first album.
They went off the cliff man, haha. They rocked it at first but... They should'a quit while they were ahead.
Damien Escobar still rocks it, but I haven't seen anything from the "Duo" in a while. Damien Escobar is truly gifted and naturally has what people try their whole life trying to get.
And 10 years later after this original comment was posted, they still rock 🤘10.1.24
Sp glad you guys are making it! I'm glad we were introduced to you on America's Got Talent. Love what you are doing!

Jones vs Evans....
i've had this on my Favoties list for years now and i still haven't gotten tired of it
It would be an awesome thing a featuring with Lindsey Stirling :>
It would be Epic.
There a version that's purely instrumental? Them yelling abruptly throughout it kind of ruins the mood of the song for me.
Still listening to this Fire!!! 08/29/2024
Why did they have to spell nothing, "nuttin'?" damn. their music is unbelievable and their story is amazing and their look is classy, but something had to be ghetto right? smh.
They wanted to spell it like that..
I hope you know the it's spelled is also part of the african dialect. It didn't start in the ghetto.
