As I sat down in the theater to watch Spectre and the music started, I was thinking "this might be the best Bond opening theme ever" then Sam Smith started "singing" because he brought it down. The song was written for a female voice and you knocked it out of the park. This is undoubtedly better than the actual version.

If it is too much slower or faster it sounds awkward. Hers sounds forced and unnatural. Also, her vibrato is used a bit too often for my taste, but that's a stylistic choice.

+SmerosMichael If you were a vocal expert you would know that the human ear finds 6 hertz per second of vibrato to be the most pleasing to hear. Hers sounds to be about 3. If it is too much slower or faster it sounds awkward. Hers sounds forced and unnatural. Also, her vibrato is used a bit too often for my taste, but that's a stylistic choice.
