Oh my, a third WOZ remix masterpiece! I found dainumo's, then Pogo's, and just a few days ago I stumbled onto yours (and during the 84th anniversary of the film, no less!). It's awesome, I love it, have had it stuck in my head for a bit now...send help, lol 👠💥 P.S. I heard "Oh Kansas (is) Home", either way that beat and the mix are stellar.
What I like best about the Pogo videos is that they have this nice soothing music playing in the background that tells me to relax, unwind, and slow down
That simple drum beat and that melody are absolute gold. I agree partially with others that the new drum part is a bit much, but I think only when you use it at the very end. I quite like the "Lions, Tigers!" part, good way to mix it up. But that bass drum and Dorothy are so golden. Love it. Do more.
@xMoonaticDestiny Pogo is very obviously my main influence for these remixes and we do both use sub bass synth sounds. All other melodies however are created by manipulating samples I found in the film. Cutting them, stretching them, distorting them etc. I'm glad you liked the video. Any suggestions for another?
@xmixes Well, you did such an amazing work with this Wizard of oz movie, I'm still listening to it today, so any of the star wars movies if results something as incredible as this mix ! Or I wonder what could be your next mix, I can't wait to hear it.
@xmixes If you don't mind, I was wondering what program you used for the bassline in this remix. I'm trying to do a few like this and I've been having trouble finding something "Pogo-like" (for lack of a better word) that works.
Awesome man. What programs do you use? I can't imagine someone using a video editor for the time it would take to do this. Is it like ABleton Live or something? Anyway. Really good work. Keep it up.
@xmixes Very cool, I'm going to give it a try. I almost wish it were possible to do it all in one place. But doing the audio first does make way more sense. Thanks for the compliment also :)
@TheITinFIT I did, it has been three month since I posted that comment. Dainumo's, Jeesh's and Remixluke's are awesome, and I would still love to hear a Star wars or another movie Xmix !
This is a great mix, the intro is phenomenal but I agree that you kind of lost me with the fast tempo drums. I nice downtempo kick and snare would make this track have that flow that it started with.
Do you mean that I ripped off his style or just that I did Oz? I did Oz before he did. But yeah, clearly he inspired me and I wanted to try my hand at video remixes. Regardless, did you enjoy the track? It's been almost 4 years since I made it but I still enjoy listening to it! :)

Man the beginning was pretty freaking amazing.
Still a wonderful classic. Thank you for keeping this up for me to reminisce with 💖
I love the witch's part lol

Bring back the Fight Club mix please!
I haven’t heard this bop in years
He also has a kickass Fight Club mix, but now it is gone, and I cannot imagine why except it is because of TH-cam.
@@h.l.malazan5782 yeah it was a youtube copyright strike :(
Seriously it’s so good
Omg, it's Awesome. A Dream for me...
Well done! Catchy and impressive syncing of the audio and video.
I hadn't seen this before I made mine. I really like it.

Awesome! You Rock!
My only wish: this would play during the credits of "Apocalypse Oz."
i love your channel, and espacially this video...
Well, I personally think Drum and Bass is always a good thing!!
I want this!! But I wish you hadn't used the drum&bass beat so much ... I like it simple! Oh I just love it all!
This makes me extremely optimistic.
@xmixes I would really love to hear a song based on Star Wars samples. Really, it could make a fully catchy song.
the one-bar bridge at 1:14 is my favorite bit

@dainumo yours is AWESOME!! Great job!
Chords from the film, vocal samples, a bassline, drumkits and a amen break.
@LordNapalm I used Pro Tools to cut and arrange the audio, then Sony Vegas for the video editing.
I like your VFX stuff!

Honestly, this derserves way more views then that!

Ozsome pogo
@imShijun any movie in particular or all of them?
well done.
@dainumo Not sure about the D'n'B flavor spliced in every now and then. A simple kick and snare might've sufficed.
Ooooooooooo!!!

Little fail...
@InfiniteNostalgiabot Yeah I did, but Xmixes also have a peculiar and great talent, I wanted to see how he could mix Star wars like they did !

My complaint is that you ripped off pogo. Can't beat the oz visuals though.
