I’m a big fan of Stanford 2018 roster especially Jenna and Morgan. Now I’m watching their old games but wow carlini and the libéro for Wisconsin is amazing and soooo disciplined.
This had to be Stanford's biggest win of the season💯 On the road,season on the line in front of a rowdy Wisconsin crowd . My fav volleyball player Jenna Gray was so great in those last 3 sets💪👏
Here to compare the defenses of both 2016 and 2019 Stanford and boy, it improved leaps and bounds as Hents patroled 3/4 of the court in their back to back championships. Wisconsin has no chance at all at the recent title game.
Look at the dig from hentz at 11:22 How can she do that? Look at her dig at 10:55 How can see read the arm of the hitter so we’ll? First dig she went into zone 6, second hit she went to zone 4. Just amazing!

In actuality, this is the Championship match. In the Final Four Stanford beat Minnesota and Texas in four, Wisconsin took them to five here in the Regional Final.
I think a lot of the reason Stanford and Wisconsin had such a tug of war is they have very different styles of playing. It was probably easier in the finals for Stanford because they were playing teams that play in essentially the same way they do. Wisconsin is explosive, almost to a fault. They don’t use their libero as much, so they end up getting broken plays that turn out well a lot more often. Where as Stanford is very dependent on their libero which leaves them with a lot of capable people in the attacking and hitting positions. Stanford depends on organization, broken plays often lead to them losing a point. Wisconsin doesn’t need that but it can lead to a much less dependable team.
Do you have any other Stanford games besides the uploaded ones? I feel like I missed out of this team and wanna watch any of their games you have.. thank you

This commentator is rude and bias towards Wisconsin. Everytime someone getd blocked on Stanford's side shes like blockeddd, Wisconsin nothing. Like thats unnecessary
Don’t get me wrong, both Gillis and Williams are spectacular players but they are two different people in two different positions! 🙄 As commentators at this level, I just expected better🙁

Nelson and Williams fought so hard in this game, each season Wisconsin gets too close to the national title, Hopefully 2020 will be thier year.
