It looked like a sponge or something with lots of grooves and what a unique swirl of energy that would be! I also love the Deep Blue page with the cool background and the ALL THE SHINY! Lovely pages K. I can't choose a favourite. I think they are all gorgeous. Not sure if you know but the artist who has done the Landscapes book has just recently come out with a postcards book of his drawings to colour. The pages are split in half, half showing how the artist coloured the piece and the other half left blank for colouring. I got mine from Amazon Japan.
Oooh, some smashing pages this month, I really enjoyed seeing them all❤ Hard to pick just one fav, I love the Jb page, lovely colour choices, and some great details, I also love your Yururi Mouse page, its looks such a peaceful place to stop. I did that same Yururi page this month! I agree that it’s just a lovely scene and you colored it fabulously. I used Irojiten pencils - I had to use the Kingfisher blue pencil on the kingfisher. 😁. They worked really well!

Love all of the pictures, as usual, but especially The Rooms of Wonder. I looked for "mini foil star" stickers on Amazon, which you used in that picture. They all look larger. Also loved the vertical gardens picture. Also, could you provide more info in the black background with the iridescent metallic over it in the allure Mayo picture? That is just stunning. Well done, as always!
Thank you. The paint in the Lulu Mayo book was the Decoart enchanted, so I used the black base coat first and then the actual Enchanted colour in blue/purple. I checked my stash and, except for the stars, I already have all of the materials you used. So, now, I am on a mission--I MUST use more of my stash. I have SO many things that I have never even used; I don't feel bad about this (much) because half of the fun of a hobby is buying things to try out. But I am going to make an effort to really utilize things I have. (This is not to say I don't LOVE your haul videos and look forward to them!)

I love your Joanna Basfordd image I love the spider webs on it it kind of reminds me when it's late at night and there's a thunderstorm in the electricity goes off and you have a flashlight and you know you're trying to find your way around and all of a sudden you see this like huge spider web that you're just now seeing that's probably been there for a while I think you did a really great job it's beautiful

Love all of the pictures, as usual, but especially The Rooms of Wonder. I looked for "mini foil star" stickers on Amazon, which you used in that picture. They all look larger.

Thank you. The paint in the Lulu Mayo book was the Decoart enchanted, so I used the black base coat first and then the actual Enchanted colour in blue/purple. I checked my stash and, except for the stars, I already have all of the materials you used. So, now, I am on a mission--I MUST use more of my stash. I have SO many things that I have never even used; I don't feel bad about this (much) because half of the fun of a hobby is buying things to try out. But I am going to make an effort to really utilize things I have. (This is not to say I don't LOVE your haul videos and look forward to them!)

I love your Joanna Basfordd image I love the spider webs on it it kind of reminds me when it's late at night and there's a thunderstorm in the electricity goes off and you have a flashlight and you know you're trying to find your way around and all of a sudden you see this like huge spider web that you're just now seeing that's probably been there for a while I think you did a really great job it's beautiful

How do you not get streaks when you paint backgrounds?
I just go over the areas with more paint by picking up paint from a palette rather than directly putting the pigment on to the page
