Fukn lov lov lov u guys. Saved me from a broken heart and addiction and just getting old. Ppl dont understand what age does 2a man. Know1 but other men understand. This world throws us away.
So I’m at Walmart buying legos for my little niece and nephew and I decide to take a walk thru the bike department like you guys do on my way out. I come around the corner and walk up on a medium size Ozark G1. They are out of stock at every Walmart around here. They only have size small. I’ve been looking since you got yours. Needless to say it came home with me , had to take the wheels off of it to get it in my car since I wasn’t in my truck and they won’t let you purchase the bike and come back to get it. Looking very forward to riding it. Thanks for the great content !! Wolf man get better soon !
Be REALLY careful when you bleed the Magura brake! The plastic bleed port screw on the lever is very easy to strip. You just need to snug the plug until the top of it is flush with the top of the port.... I can't emphasize this enough. 👍
The MT Trail Sports come with 2 m or 6 ft+ of hose on each caliper/lever combo, more than enough for 95% of bike frames. The levers can be used on either left or right side. They are not side specific. When bleeding be EXTREMELY aware of the bleed port screw. It only requires to be tightened to 0.5 NM or 4.4 inch pounds. TLDR tighten it slowly until it stops and then you are done, works every time! I've used nothing but Magura brakes for years and have NEVER stripped a bleed port screw, but have seen lots of other people ham fist them and do it. So just go slow and be careful and you will be fine.
Hurrah they arrived!!! I ordered those Maguras through US amazon so they should be us style… but the important thing and a huge benefit with magura levers is that they are a “flip flop” design so the lever can be mounted either way up. There is a bleed port on both sides so you won’t need to swap the levers over. But do not be heavy handed with the screws/clamp bolts as the lever body is “plastic” not alloy. Glad they eventually arrived. The trail sport set is towards the low/mid end of their range but hopefully you find great performance for the cost. Another small thing the front brake doesn’t have retaining pins for the pads, it’s designed that way. The pads are magnetic and won’t come loose. I also love the wake bars, very good value and tough!
Just met u guys at dardenlle State Park y'all r really cool and interesting how u take a cheap bike and make it a really good trail bike maybe met u again soon I take y'all fishing
That X fusion fork is probably pretty good. It’s got low speed compression adjustment. That’s what it took to make my XFusion Trace fork work, i had to put the rough cut damper in it.
as a professional and expert at never installing bar tape i'd say that's good first time install. And can't wait for the review on the X-Fusion fork. You should just throw the new fork, handlebars and brakes on the same bike.
That was a very decent first effort wrapping bars. That really thick bar tape os particularly hard to do neatly, especially around the levers and getting started down at the end og the drops. Nicebthimg about thay silicone tape is you can keep pulling it off and rewrapping. Practice makes perfect.
Hey I just wanted to mention a new bike I just found online that I’ve never heard of it’s by a company called airborne bikes it’s called the guardian. It’s on sale for $600 right now and it comes with a sram SX drivetrain, Tektro hydraulic brakes and a Judy coil fork. Seems like a great bike for the channel and wanted to let you know about it.
Love you guys & your vids. The background you used has Tick looking like he's standing on a table. It may just be I'm a cranky old man but I like the simplicty of old tech. I don't even mind rim brakes (as long as I'm not riding in mud, rain or snow). Old tech may require frequent adjustments but at least I can do it fairly easily (without a phone). That said, I forgot what a PITA bar tape installs are. Tick, you did well for the first time installing. It's interesting that you like thin grips but went for thick "supple" bar tape. I can't wait to hear your feelings about the tape in a realtime review. I love this bike. It reminds me of the first bike I ever intended to buy for myself. In the end my dad offered to pay half if I got good grades. It seemed like it took me forever to save my half of the cost (& the bike was probably the same price as the G1, back in the 80s 😂). Wishing you a speedy recovery Wolf.
Nice job... had you heard about Shimano finally releasing a dropbar version of their CUES groupset for gravel bikes fairly recently? Got 'accidentally' leaked by Cube cos they fitted it on some of their 2025 bikes lol, the key thing though is 'budget' hydraulics for dropbars... it ain't available to buy yet but it caught my eye for my own gravel bike 🤔🤔 Also looks like the Ozark has a cloaking device fitted (green bike, greenscreen 😂)
u got that gap in the lever cuz you gotta reverse the wrap. top part is wrapped wrong way will come loose as hands twist. wrap in direction you would wrap teflon pluming tape on threads. drops are the correct direction
Tires got fishtaily because you pooped your pants when the dog came after you and made some slick conditions. Bar tape is something I want nothing to do with. OCD would kick in and i'd be constantly wrapping and unwrapping it. Nice mailtime with the fork and the brakes! The discount store is one of those stores that gets closeout's and random stuff like return pallets and whatnot. I wasn't happy about the postage cost either lol, double what I paid for the bars. Lil Squatch fell asleep to Wolfman's latest episode last night.
You should note: Magura says you are guaranteed to go 5 years without a bleed. I went at least 10 years. I got a new set 2 years ago to replace a pair I had since 2008. Somewhat shocked the new ones feel the same as the old ones….And did the install with no bleeding. Just saying, you can’t do better than Magura, IMHO…
PS. I got the Magura MT 5 trail, single pot rear, 2 pot front, 203/180. They are on my diy e bike, a Bafang monster. So they are good slowing from 35mph all the time…
That wrap job looks terrible, lol🤣. Not sure what to think about the weird green screen background effects. You really must've p!ssed someone off to get sent Magura brakes, good luck trying to get those nightmares bled

I really hope the G1 rides well now, it's been a whole load of hassle!
Good to see Wolfman on the mend, get well soon 😎👍🍻

That’s my viewing sorted for tonight!!

Always a Tuesday highlight! Good job guys!

You can put those Magura on your new Mongoose Salvo and the Tektro Orion on the purple Switchback. Those Magura are high end stuff.

You should rock those earphones with your mirror glasses. Lol.

Bar wrapping is an art for sure, and wow! that is pricey for wrap. I'm still thinking the levers are low on the bar but see how they feel riding.

I have an extra special kind of hatred for Magura brakes
Lol Bike Farmer is a different channel. I watch him too.

Yo guys, what's your thoughts on BMX bars and stem on 26" full suspension mtb.
Umm. Vetta used to make an awesome one!!!
