They later learned Byrne had resigned and showed everyone what they had been missing, that mate was unavoidable. This game is also worth featuring in your TH-cam channel. After the tournament, notable chess author Dr. Hans Kmoch jokingly congratulated the runner-up Evans on winning the tournament, then congratulated Fischer on "winning the exhibition."
