To be honest grammer is important it's like saying hindi k paper mai apko hindi grammer nhi aati to chalega han vocab or passage kr sakte ho usse sectional cut off nikal jayegi likin baki sabhi jagah apko subject verb agreements aane chahiye grammar directly use nhi hoti but indirectly har question mai hoti hai. But yes smart strategy is imp and i think that's what you are saying.
But arithmetic is important .....ya grammar is not too important...but arithmetic is important ...if u want only quality prelim then u skip....but if u want clear exam then never skip arithmetic
