Filipino Reactor. Keeping it real and natural.
I am Nephi Acaling. I am native to Bacolod City but currently living in Cebu City, Philippines. I’ve lived in different countries like Singapore, Japan and United States due to job assignments. I was in the US when I started this channel thus the confusion to some where I am truly based.
At a time, I was a band vocalist performing every Friday and Saturday night at a local bar chain but recently decided to quit from my band to focus on my TH-cam Channel and my full-time job as an engineer.
I was a member of the Filipino Voice Symphony where I was taught by professional chorale singers (e.g. former soprano from UP Madrigal Singers). Our choral group actually bagged the Gold Medal in the International A cappella Championships held in Singapore in 2011.
I was the Glee Club President and was a trainer for various singing competitions when I was in the university - all these were humbling experiences for me.
I enjoy watching videos especailly singing performances and react to them.
I keep my reactions real and natural.
This is not a Raya song. It is a traditional malay music influenced from Arab/Middle East.
The dance is called "Zapin". One of the famous traditional dance from southern Malaysia. It is a fast & agile dance.
This music uses "gambus" (traditional string instrument like guitar), "kompang" (small-sized drum where you can hold it using one hand and hit the surface using other hand) and "gendang" (like purcussion drum).

this is malaysian traditional song ...and yeah i cannot blame you if you was thought this as a raya song...bcuz mostly raya song always choose malay traditional rhythm to embrace our culture ethnicity ...and there some part of them have the middle eastern influence (as we can see that kind of element appeared through their instrument )......so its a quite perfect bcuz islam born in arabic land ....so it make sense

Because they vanish all the culture, route, and identity from the phillipinos so that they know nothing and be lost about their past. It is sooo sad. Really2 sad. It's not a Raya Song. It's traditional song called 'Zapin', come from Southern part of Malaysia, Johore. Much influence by music from middle east and Turkey, and appear very long time ago since right after Islamic influence coming to Malay Archipelago to the Malacca Sultanate and Johore Sultanate.
