I've seen quite a few. We have one that's being built right now that is red metal flake and black stripe. My favorite was a all white with a black stripe. There are nice blue ones. It's just personal preference. There are a lot of options.
@@SlimeTimeHaZe the red metal flake with black stripes sounds a lot like my last boat and wished I’d have done same pattern again. Your new boats are fire. Gonna have to price one out and contemplate swapping
Icon is definitely setting the standard. I highly doubt the other boat manufacturers have as many people designing an testing everything that goes into their boats the way ikon does, was really cool to see! Excited to see where ikon will be in the next 5 years!
fantastic video guys. Of all the high end bass boats you have talked about ICON impresses me the most. It will only be a matter of time before other high end manufactures implement what ICON is doing.
I enjoy your videos so much! I'm picking up my new 200 Suzuki tommorow in NJ at brown point marine service I would not be buying without learning about them through your videos. I buy your merch great stuff!!
Great video, Andy!! One of your best in my opinion. Can't wait to see this boat at the Classic. I'm lucky enough to live in Knoxville. Hope to see ya there.
Andy, I appreciate your true opinions and real talk in your videos. I am a lifelong outdoorsman that loves hunting and fishing. I’m fairly new to your channel and have enjoyed many of your videos. I know I’m late to the party and this video is old now but it’s new to me. I was so excited when I saw the title of this video. I really wanted to see what, if anything truly sets iKon apart from the rest. I kinda got that from this video but not like I had hoped. I hope you can appreciate my opinions and real talk like I do yours. I was so disappointed in this video for one reason. I understand that iKon didn’t want certain things on camera but watching the fine folks from iKon describe the manufacturing process and unique features of the boat while standing in front of the boat would have been amazing if we could have actually gotten more video of the product as they were describing it instead of you and the person talking. It was a factory tour with the camera on you and the guys talking instead of being on what they were describing as they were describing it. We got a whole lot of faces on camera with short glimpses of product in this “factory tour”. Just real talk here but if the camera is going to be mainly on people talking about the boat, you may as well just sit in front of a boat and talk about it. Sorry for being so frustrated about this particular video and for not kissing your ass like some of the folks posting comments, but I come here for you to inform and entertain me which you mostly do. I have no reason to hate on you, which I’m not, and I have no reason to suck up to you, so I’m not. Just my two cents on a “factory tour” video. Keep up the good work. Umm… the other good work, not this good work.
We understand your opinion and appreciate it. We have to film it that way because we cannot mic everyone up and we need to have our shotgun mic pointed at the individual talking. In reality all factory tours are the same....people laying fiberglass, loud noises and and other rigging. What sets other companies apart are quality of materials they are using. Eventually we will get more cameramen and be able to film more of what's going on. Thanks buddy
@@TeamMarineService Hey guys, I appreciate the reply and thank you for the info on the challenges and limitations you encounter. Hey, Could you make a video of what you think on the Nitro ZV21 and the Ranger 621fs. For the multi species guys; that want to fish for bass and walleye. Could you include if not one of those 2, which boat is best for multi species. Being able to handle waves in open water, but still going decently shallow, and being able to fish bass.
@ 22:40 the logic they gave you behind the 1.5 degree per hour livewell chiller makes no sense. Basically he said it cools slowly so you don't shock the fish. but if you catch your 5th at 2:00 wouldn't you be taking it out of ambient temp water and throwing it in the already cooled water? And vice versa during weigh in?
Cools slowly explaining how the water cools. Cool the water not to shock them from top water which is typically warmer on hot days and fish are caught deeper in cooler water. My bad in the explanation. Best explanation of the livewell and the development was dropped in iKon L2 video
This is just another way for icon to get the new boat hype going. I don’t blame them, they want to sell boats. It will take something special to compete w bass cat, phoenix, bullet, Allison , etc. 100k plus boats rigged for the show ! I really like what I see in the new icon, but does the high end bass boat market really need another 150k boat !? I’m a loyal subscriber to Andy and crew. Absolutely love their channel and content. I really like how caught up Andy is about this new boat. But he likes any boat builder that talks to him and returns his calls ! He’s an IKON fan boy !
Not that anyone could really buy one of these it sure would be fun to know what one cost or is that a big secret ?? I looked on the internet and couldnt find pricing. In 2050 I might be in the market for a use iKon.🤔
Completely wrong. We invited Team Marine Service down for an honest opinion. We completely opened the doors and let him review everything and anything he wanted. Clearly we didn’t stage anything as you can see when the rear hatch was screwed tight. Come see us at the classic.
This boat maybe quite nice, I trust Team Marine's reviews, but I think Ikon or any other bassboat manufacturer would really come to the front if they keep the prices down. For a new 20ft bassboat the norm is hovering around $100k. That is simply unattainable for the vast majority of the good folks in the sport of bass fishing.
Next time tell your cameraman to watch the stuff that he's talking about rather than focus on you guys it's supposed to be a tour of the how the boats are made
We hear ya. Due to being limited on how many people we can mic up at once it either "hear" what they are talking about or "see" an image without any context. We are working on a better system
