The goal of this Festival of Legends Wild Hearthstone Overheal Priest OTK combo deck is to use Crimson Clergy combined with Nazmani Bloodweaver! We do this by destroying a Crimson Clergy at some point during the game. Then, we play Nazmani Bloodweaver, Radiant Elemental, Animate Dead, and various heal cards to draw our entire deck to eventually play Mecha'thun and Whirlpool for the OTK! Super fun meme deck! Idea for a Paladin Combo where you force a tie:
- Cast Starlight Groove to get divine shields for your hero
- Use Brann + Silas to give your opponent a Generous Mummy and Doomsayer
- Play Gadgetzan Auctioneer and infinite copies of Holy Maki Roll until your fatigue reaches a high enough point to OTK your opponent
- Play Eye for an Eye and Runic Egg
- Pass the turn
Starlight Groove should eat the fatigue damage on your turn. Then when you pass your turn, Doomsayer will kill off the Runic Egg and force you to draw a fatigue, dealing massive damage to you and triggering Eye for an Eye to also deal that damage to your opponent.
Technically, this combo can actually OTK for a win if you simply have enough armour to survive the damage that would kill your opponent (Such as from Thekal)
I don’t think it would work because the game would think you took 0 damage and wouldn’t even trigger eye for an eye
@@alanspektor274 I don't think that's correct, even though divine shield reduces damage to 0, if you have ever used Rune of the Archmage (or similar random spell cards) you might have noticed that some cards that interact with dealing excess damage still trigger when hitting a divine shield. The one I could have sworn works is Collateral Damage (8 mana hunter spell) still deals the "excess" damage to the enemy hero. I have 0 clue how eye for an eye is coded with heros having divine shield, as they just added it. My assumption, based on other data, is that it would work.
@@MrJsintic eye for an eye in fact does not work like those other cards (collateral dmg, arcane overflow, explosive runes). it would not trigger if you have the divine shield
@@alanspektor274 It would work. Because you wouldn't have divine shield.
Since it would be impossible to have divine shield after beginning the combo as any (Holy) spell you play will draw a card due to Auctioneer thus causing fatigue damage to remove the divine shield.
Hence you would die, thus causing the tie (Unless you had excess armour to survive what would be lethal for the opponent or randomly generated an Ice Block with Sketchy Stranger)
okay so if you still have a divine shield at the end just use something like Elven archer to remove your divineshield and then pass the turn?

I dunno if the decks i've been playing have been getting better but this is the first mark combo that i actually found multiple times in ladder that i didn't lose a singles game to. Can also be that the ones i did find where actually very strong, since people were actually using them on the ladder, but who knows.
That druid opponent is extremely gloaty, and I'm very glad he lost after spamming so much. I wonder how long it took him to realize that getting milled is what you wanted all along.

I'm glad you got another sponsor! Good combo too. Just saw Roffle play this deck. It's so much better for 1 mana instead of 6 mana Gadgetzan Auctioneer.

That's not an OTK. I played it some on day one. It's decently reliable but not fast enough to beat aggro and once you've swapped and blown their deck you can still die to their board or what they have left in hand. Adding coldlight for post swap mill gave it more of a won condition but made it even slower.
It can be done and I expect Mark will do it when more fun and interesting combos have exhausted themselves, but it's nothing special.

Wouldn't it be cheaper to let Nazmani die, bring that one back with Animate Dead and just play Clergy from Hand? Am I missing something?
cheaper yes, but card draw is probably more valueable
@@rltt379 Yeah, would depend heavily on your hand. But with a perfect hand, you could do the combo earlier.
@@amaranthus4206 when you have enough cards to go in you have enough mana to do it both ways, so getting the clergy in the pool, while most hex effects aren't playable yet seems better

I would add Violet Illusionist and don't worry about overdrawing myself to death...
You need board space for Animate Dead and Gift of Luminance (assuming you had to cast it early in your combo turn). The deck summons exactly 7 minions right now, and it will hurt the consistency to replace one of these minions with a card you don't need most of the time.
