I have fished a few time since this video Christopher and some of the rivers have far greater numbers of salmon in them than they have had for a long time . It's just getting a hook to stick is the problem Cheers Iain.🥃
A nice wee juicy dry fly might, just might have done the business. They were certainly coming up, and the switch you were using would have been ideal for the job. Small and light can be a good option in these conditions ....my tactic but with fishing it's trial and error, which you know only too well Iain I'm sure. Always enjoy your outings and vids 😎🍺
I have gone as low as 16,s Mr Mazo without much success (Well maybe a little ). only need to get around to editing more trips and stop going fishing 😉. Cheers Iain. 🥃

It is worth the trip. when I was fishing there were a few local anglers and they seemed happy to point out the best bits . I think that a lot of the fish had moved up from Islamouth and had seen everything Cheers Iain. 🥃
I would recommend having a cast or two If you phone Kate Fleming,s in Blairgowrie You will find Paul is very helpful and point you in the right direction Cheers Iain. 🥃

This year there seems to be more salmon about James but they seem to be more difficult to catch . I think the ones that I have managed to hook have had problems holding onto the fly Cheers Iain. 🥃
I am on the upper beat of the Blairgowrie and Rattray angling association David. This is the first year I have fished on both the upper and lower beats. I have been meaning to fish it for a few years but only got around to it , I will definitely try get back. Cheers Iain. 🥃
