Without showing any disrespect to the bowlers of his time, he played shots that made them look like the kindergarten team with water pistols. He has every shot in the book and he pulled them out without any premeditation and without fuss. He was the complete package. When the left arm bowler came in, i thought let's see how Viv faces the challenge of a left arm angle going across and then one ball coming in. That tells me Viv Richards wasn't as good as it seems. Somehow in all highlights, i see him facing pretty standard pace bowling, rather than extremely challenging bowling. No extreme swing, even in England.
Viv Richard faced great bowls such as denicelilly Richard hadlie and a lot more I watched some of the greatest bowls ever and fast like Jeff tomsom bowling over 160 plus they did not use a rader on unlill he got injured later viv Richard destroyed some of the greatest bowlers ever and Also there was 5 great all rounders also where alot of bowlers are boring today and I can say as I saw cricters from the 70s 80 90s 2000s as well
