I'm looking for a stove I can do as an insert but still have some portion of the stove sticking out the front of the fireplace so I can atleast use a kettle or frying pan and I want a decent size fire box so to keep house warm at night but also have an oven next to the fire box too. Most I've looked at are too tall to fit in my fireplace. I can maybe remove some bricks around the face but don't think I can cook on top. My thought was an insert with no legs or something with a low profile and I have a hearth in front so maybe the stove can stick out far enough for me to cook on. but I also want a water jacket to run a radiator to one bedroom so in a power outage we can stay warm and cook. Any suggestions?

It's been more than 1 year since your comment. I don't think you're gonna get a response.

So so you guys sell the tanks too? And also what no one is telling me is do I just fill a tank with watter then let it circulate add more as I need or does it get hooked into a watter supply from day a well or line

Yes, we do sell the hot water tanks for water storage, they are called range boilers. For domestic hot water, it circulates based on thermodynamics as the water heats, it rises, the cold water comes back into the stove to be reheated. Please let me know if you have any further questions or concerns. Thank you for the opportunity to be of service to you.
